What is Stimming?
Stimming is a self-stimulatory behavior that is marked by a repetitive action or movement of the body (such as repeatedly tapping on objects or the ears, snapping the fingers, blinking the eyes, rocking from side to side, or grunting) and is typically associated with certain conditions (such as autism spectrum disorder). -Merriam Webster
Thaddeus has no sense of waiting though he is improving as he grows older.
In this video we were stuck in traffic. He does this all the time then will stop as soon as we get out of the car. This is how he regulates himself.
At times Matthew is annoyed but I let him. It is important for Thaddeus to do this.
There are many other forms of stimming for an Autistic person.
It would be nice if all of us are knowledgeable about Autism so we will understand why Autistics behave the way they are.

I could understand why you would think to post this for the education of others, but did you get your child's consent? I'm autistic. I wouldn't have felt great having my stims just posted to the internet without my consent as the internet is full of cold-hearted people who will insult anyone who is deemed "not normal". Someone could go look back at and see videos of child me, and use it as an excuse not to provide me a job or other opportunities because most places aren't willing to fathom the idea of being accommodating. Us autistic people don't just exist for the sake of education. We deserve privacy, especially in childhood. It should be up to us if we want to educate others. Not other people in our lives.

Thank you. Thaddeus is not a common name in the UK. We named him after St Jude Thaddeus, the patron saint of the hopeless. We are Catholics. We waited for Thaddeus for a long time after marriage. We went through a lot especially me. Operation after operation. Miscarriage. Thaddeus was conceived through IVF and I suffered complications in my pregnancy. Nevertheless, Thaddeus came as a victor. Even before pregnancy, I am a devotee to St Jude Thaddeus so I promised if we will be given a boy, we will name him after St Jude Thaddeus.
