Love this glaze and will order it as soon as its available!! I use speckled Buff I think it will work as most of the Mayco glazes I have do. Question, do you have a great purple combo that would look great on speckled buff? I love purple and can't seem to find the right combo. Thank you so much, and I love Mayco!!!!!!!

All of the combos that we showcase on our website are on a white stoneware, but you could check there for inspiration! www.maycocolors.com/glaze-combinations/ Also, be sure to follow Mayco Mudroom Society on Facebook to see what your fellow potters are making with our products. There is a search feature there to help you find anything specific.

It would be super helpful if you would show us how you glaze the tiles. How many coats do you put on the flat tiles? How do you apply the combos?
Also how do we find out what the “sister” glazes are?

Thank you for the feedback! We showcase how we apply 1, 2, and 3 coats of glaze to the stand up tiles in our Honeycomb and Galaxy videos. All of our glaze combos have 2 coat of each glaze. We divide the tiles into 3 parts applying 2 coats of the first glaze to the bottom 2/3 of the tile, allowing the glaze to dry in between coats. Next we apply 2 coats of the top glaze to the top 2/3 of the time, allowing the combo to showcase itself in the middle 1/3. The glaze groupings are listed on the labels. We promots SW165-169; SW177 together, SW201-212, SW251-255, along with the SW185-188 from this most recent product release. We hope this clears some things up and we will be sure to keep these in mind in the future.

Is the base glaze for Cenote Norse Blue?

Should we store these crystal glazes upside down to move the crystals to the top?

With this particular glaze it is not 100% necessary, but it does not hurt to do so.
