3. No please, i have already stated the grounds the court will consider before custody. Remarriage is not one. Unless there is a special problem with the new spouse. 2. The father shoud go to court or the appropriate place for new orders. 1. It depends on so many things. The court may order for maintenance of the spouse pending the divorce.

Go to the legal aid commission office near you. They will assist you fo file the process in court for free. But first go to DOvvsu for referral to court because he is not complying. Or you can go to the district court near you and they will assist you but you have to pay.

When I honoured the social welfare invite they asked us to go back to dovvsu since the case was with them. Now he has finally. I'm really confused I don't know what to do as times are hard. My business is crumbling (cant pay the bills and staffs) and so I need support to be able to cater for myself and the baby.

Yes please. How much he earns, if there is any impairment on his earning capacity, his responsibilities especially if he has other children or dependants, the special needs of the child among others.
Yes she can. Whether or not the court will grant it would depend on whether the chid's interest would be served in her custody. The court will look at all the circumstances to determine that.
What if he is living in abroad and wants to take your new born baby to his relatives? He lives abroad with his wife and other kids but want to take your baby to his relative?
Will the best interest of the new born baby be served with you or the relatives? The parent is the first person with the right to have custody. The man has to prove that there are genuine reasons that affect the child's welfare negatively, to warrant the need to take the children to his relatives.
Can i restrict my child from going to his father as result ofan aunty saying the child isnt for his brother and that he should have a DNA done. I feel psychologically it will affect my child,the aunty leaves close to the father
Both of you can resolve this. I dont believe restriction in itself would solve the problem. The aunt's behaviour is unhealthy for the child. You can report her and the child's inactions to DOVVSU for domestic violence if it persists after amicable efforts fail.

Does it matter if the child is a girl, and the father wants the custody of it. People use to say if it a girl they wont give it to the father
It is still possible for young girls to be given to their fathers if the circumstances show that it will be in the best interest of the child
