Oil Change Yamaha WR450f YZ450F

The oil change procedure for WR450F and YZ450F 2021 is the same. In the video, we changed oil like the owner’s manual says. But you can make it more simple: just remove the overfill check bolt and fill oil until it spills out - in this case, there is no need to check the oil level after the procedure.

Can gasoline get in the oil on these bikes? i remove more oil than i put it when doing oil changes after 5 to 7 hours

very unlikely on fuel injected bikes. check coolant level. If the head gasket is blown, oil can mix with it... or water if you drowned the bike. Have you fixed it yet?

Everytime i remove the filter cover a lot of oil come out and it makes a mess. Is there a way to drain the oil filter compartment before removing cover?

You missed a step , theirs a bolt on side of top end by valve , you loosen start bike till drips oil then tighten shutoff bike , then you have released the air from the lines

Are you sure? Such bolt was used to check the oil pressure on the previous model. This model has the window, so you can check the pressure looking at the window.
