I dont see how shang can be the worst character in the game when he can be every character. Ill go from young, to old, to your character in one sequence equalling 40% +. goro turning every string or his armor safe or into a launcher hes gotten me to elder god easy. Only downside is I had to learn every character 💀

Geras is the worst character in the game during the bbc era everyone playing him always lost

As someone who considers themselves an expert on Smoke as far as tech, options against characters and mu but isnt as good as they wanna be yet I'm still a believer he'd be bottom of S+.
Yeah there are people with results compared to me, but i watch how they play and the amount of Smokes getting away with fake bullshit is crazy. Hard character to discuss since only actual grinders like us do the lab work.
Smokes got
1: The highest damage launcher in the game thats confirmable and usable with Tremor and Mavado
2: Throw combos with Tremor and Mavado
3: A universal across all kameos armor breaking invis combo drop into reset that has to be upblocked, which opens you up to throw or low because its so meaty fhe upblock cant recover
4: With Cyrax he obvs gets in for free but theres also the fucking invisibility net vortex in the corner, you can sometimes just get tagged and thats it. AND he can start that vortex off the launching forward throw
5: Hes like, top 5 damage output in the game
6: one of the absolute best jumps for jumping in on zoning reads or big normals
7: Can actually fight Peacemaker Kano because literally any projectile, eagles, gun, whatever, can be ex dashed into full combo on reaction
The problem is my characters community are a bunch of bitches. They want easy solutions like Cyrax being buffed lol

btw. Cyrax need to be nerfed. Horizontal chopper for half bar is a mess

For everyone who says that Subzero is not the worst character in the game, that Scorpion is worse than subzero, that people are downplaying him, I would just like to point out that Subzero made literally not one appearance in final Kombat. I think the only other character that is true for is maybe Smoke. Everyone else had representation. Even Natara. Even Havic. Also, this is the first time I watched a video from this guy, and he just seams like a wanna be Sikander who is wrong a lot of the time.

He does not. He has the worst damage in the game, out of all the characters that actually does have projectiles he has the worst, all his strings have gaps, his one string that launches is ungodly slow and so unsafe you can take a 2 week vacation over seas and return in time to punish, he has a tool that is supposed to be a good defensive and space controlling tool but everyone has a way to make that move damn near irrelevant unless it is in a combo, he is bugged in the corner... Subzero is very bad.
So then if subzero is top 10 with khameleon what emif everyone used khameleon what does that do to john cage and khameleon peacemaker with khameleon is subzero still top 10 :/

@@figgDnjxja don't need pokes when you have a green portal that pushes the opponent back or keeps them in the corner. Don't need neutral when you can put the opponent in a bone cage. Back kick into Sareena's blades is an easy 44%. Orange portal gives Quan armors and lets him teleport without being punished.

@@figgDnjxja When I use Quan, I RARELY get pressured because he has the best zoning in the game. it's actually very easy to do well with Quan. Most people use the strategy of just walk forward/approach and press buttons. That is a very easy strategy to counter.
Raiden is a top S+tier his chip damage is insane without cyrax
Brother. Shang tsung is not bottom tier. Let me tell you something that most people don’t see it. All the characters are strong. Some are easy and some are hard to play. Johnny is top tier because he has all the tools and anyone who has a reasonable understanding of a fighting game (frame data) would go well with Johnny. I would say that a tier list of this game should be two categories only. They are not that far different from each other specially with kameos.
I hate it when people say stuff like this. There are 100% bad characters. Subzero, Havic, and Natara have almost no chance against characters like Johny and PeaceMaker. To win against those characters, people who play these 3 have to work way, way, way harder.

Yeah you lost me at "Kung Lao is top tier". He's my main but nothing makes him unbeatable. The armor launch you speak of is only a proper launch with a suitable Kameo. I can't trust the list after that.

Thats probably means, that you take a lot of time and effort into him. I think to reveal Smoke's true power we need to invest much resources. And by that time we can realize that he is totally fine. Any small buff to Smoke - and you probably ruin game balance (yeah, even more, than we have now)
