Carpenter here... just want to share my team's experience with cabinet resurfacing. The Dawn Power Wash spray is awesome! BUT... sometimes too awesome. It was so powerful, that when left soaking on cabinet doors, it stripped the paint. Not bad in our situation, as we needed to strip paint anyway, but for those who aren't resurfacing, you may want to take extra precautions.

@@mercedezgonzales3242 Use goo-gone. It is safe and works quicker than murphy's oil soap. I worked for a cleaning company and this is what they used because time is money. We also used it on the stove and the top of the toasters that had burned gunk on them.

As a landlord who does his own clean ups, I came across this looking for some solutions as I am really knew and fell into this through ig fate/misfortune and one of the units had essentially a hoarder who left the kitchen / house infested and dirty beyond anything I've ever seen. I've eradicated the initial issue, cleared everything out (including the carpet/old flooring) and have gotten to the point of finishing the bathroom / kitchen. The kitchen had the thickest amount of grease coated on the walls, one 2ft pass with my bristle brush left the thing entirely caked/gummed up. The cabinets are disgusting beyond imagination and I gave them a light bath to loosen things up but figured perhaps scrubbing / sanding / restain would be a better idea... anyhow thanks for the video. :) and if you read this, thanks for reading.

You have at least 3 cleaning supplies and multiple wipers on a barely dirty cabinet.
I bought a place with a kitchen where-in the previous owner spent 20 years frying meals daily while smoking. Krud Kutter, period.
Krud Kutter, a contractor box of paper towels, a plastic scraping tool and loud music. Spray, let percolate and scrape or wipe as appropriate (pre spray the next cabinet while de-yukking). 4 hours, a bottle of krud Kutter, 60ish paper towels and a sore throat later, sparkles like new-ish! Point is, non soapy degreaser and paper removal tools work best on grease.

I just used Krud Kutter on greasy cabinets. It did NOT work for me. After repeated applications, I can still scratch the grease from around knobs with my nails.

I've used Murphy's Oil Soap on a lot of things, either straight or diluted but never on appliances such as refrigerators.
As far as Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner, that does work well on the exterior of refrigerators. I like the regular strength.Iused to clean *filthy* vacant rental apartments and they were horrible, especially if the tenants were smokers. I'd pull the fridge out from the wall and foam it with SB. Oh, my, it would just start running the gunk right down! Orange if they were smokers. Easy to rinse, too.
I only used the Max for showers and inside bathtubs. One problem I've encountered with the strong cleaner in tubs is that it can warp the rubbery caulking strips, especially tje older ones. Unwise to let the cleaner dwell there.

Go to the auto parts store and but either the spray bottle or the gallon jug of CASTROL SUPER CLEAN. It's a heavy duty degreaser that;s biodegradable, nontoxic & made of natural ingredients that just wipes grease & that sticky greasy film away with no scrubbing!
It also is a GREAT bug killer and kills bugs on contact, just give 'em a squirt or two and they're dead in a minute or less. Try it, you won't want to clean a kitchen, car tires, wiper blades or engine without it ever again!
