I have to say that I've watched three videos and I have subscribed to your channel and I don't have any snowmobiles or ATVs left because of my arthritis I'm a 59 year old rider and too bad it has come to this. I love watching the videos because I can share and bring you subscribers.
I am glad you enjoy the content and thanks for sharing the videos. Sorry about the arthritis, my dad has it pretty bad as well and limits what he can do now unfortunately.
Man I hate working on dirty bikes.. I do a little bit of bike work for guys on the side.. and my main rule is drop your machines off clean.. or I charge ‘em to wash it.. love the content defiantly learned some things watching your vids
I do the same. It’s no fun working on dirty machines. Glad you enjoy the content.
Out of AZ, only know banshees but it’s cool seeing these different machines. Good content
Love me some banshee’s. We don’t see to many around here though.
Love these diagnostic videos. Great job buddy and thanks for the content!
Glad you enjoy them! Plenty more to come.
I’ve recently broke my back at work and I’ve got to say every time you upload a video it’s a good day. Keep up the good work man
Oh wow, sorry about your back! That’s gotta be painful! I’m glad I can keep you entertained when I upload.
Thanks
love how straight forward your vids are. can’t wait for the next one
Thanks, glad to hear it. I was planning to post one today but it’ll have to wait for tomorrow.
Ive learned to leave ‘em stock. Never the same after you fire the aftermarket parts cannon at em.
Yeah massive tires is hard on them.
That thing has probably spent a lot of time full of water
Oh for sure!
You think?
Cool bike. Mud is always hard on them
Sure is, that’s why I personally don’t play in it anymore.
Great content! I really enjoy all your videos, follow you on all the platforms. looking forward to the next one big shout out from Ireland.
Glad you enjoy the content! Hopefully I’ll have another full vid for CZcams soon.
Great video love the content
Thanks!
I really enjoy the content. Just know i wont comment on fb but do watch.
I appreciate it! CZcams is more beneficial for me, when you comment anyways!
Wow that looks awesome it would be the first Polaris that I would want to own lol I already own 2 polaris when has a blown motor which is an 850cc n the other one is 500cc n that one still runs kinda lol
Looks like you have a nice renegade though!
It’s been 4 days now but I work on these things for a living. Just trying to help one mechanic to another. I would recommend putting a fuel pump in that 570 I know it’s screeching when it wants to die but That could also be the 1 way beating on the clutch I’ve heard them make that noise before. fuel pressure should be 59+-7 I believe
Just came across your channel, I like your content your going to be up there with the top CZcamsrs soon, keep doing what your doing brother, Got a sub from me
Thanks, I’m glad you enjoy it.
Another great video an if your interested I have 2 3 wheeler I’m looking to get rid of on is a 200s Honda an one is a Yamaha 200 shaft drive
Great video and diag. Long time watcher, especially tic tok.
Thanks, glad you enjoy the content!
That thing is a monster. Mud riding is money and broken parts.
Arkansas Wavin
I am not a huge Polaris fan, but its sad to see how these turn out.
Cool bike. And nice video! What do you think happened that made the crank stick like that? Starvation of oil? Or did the piston sease up in the cylinder and damaged the crank?
It’s hard to say, I know originally it ingested water which took out the top end but it also might of got in the crank and locked her up. Waiting on the go ahead to tear into it.
@@rockspowersports yeah that sounds right. Hoping you get to tear it down and fix it
Just that 1 starter bolt is why I don't work on my own stuff. I would get mad and cause another $100 in damage not to mention creating new curse word's
I need your help, my 2003 yamaha kodiak 400 is knocking but I can't figure out what type of knocking it is, is there a way I can send you a video of the knocking?
At my son’s for the winter. He has a canam650 canam1000 sidebyside pol Ari’s 850 sportsman.all need work. I am a 19teenth century shadetree mechanic .where do I start
I got a 1995 Polaris magnum 425 4x4 I am trying to sell, what do you think I could get out of it? Everything works, but I’m not certain about the 4x4. It’s missing the middle chain, and I don’t want to spend any money on it. I hit the AWD button while driving and it started spinning the front sprocket though. Plastics are rough.
They probably tried to start that with water in the top end and fucked up the crank
Very possible, it’s too bad the previous shop didn’t notice it.
What is the name of that scan tool you are using to check the check engine light
Man, just looking at this machine…that’s what they mean by rode hard and put away wet. I never buy any machines with radiator relocation kit. Plus I hope he doesn’t have the stock from diff in it with those tires on it
That’s ones thing about the polaris machines that I don’t like as they sound like they have a knock even when they don’t I had a explorer 500 and I ended up selling it cause the belt was slipping and one axle was bent and it sounded like a knock but the guy I sold it to messages a few months later with same machine and nothing wrong with it
Honestly in person the sound didn’t sound as bad as the camera picked up. But yes these engines can be pretty noisy even running good.
How to you like that diagnostic software? I’m a small engine mechanic in the winter out of my shop here in mn and I’ve been hesitant to buy it because I don’t know anyone who’s had it.
I feel it’s pretty necessary to have the BUDS, if you’re going to be working on Can am’s on the regular. Unfortunately for every make has a different diagnostics tool.
Another question how did you get started and how did you get all your scan tools?
Just slowly started.. started off buying, fixing and selling them and then gained more and more customer repairs. The tools are expensive so I’m still actively buying some a little at a time.
What scanner tool do you have for them
For Polaris I use Check tech. For Can am I use BUDS
@@rockspowersports where can I get a check tech
Wow, sure sounded like a knock on camera. Doesn't pay to go underwater...
This is why I don't take my machines through water, too much risk for water getting into the engine.
I hate working on a polaris.
Mudding is one thing, but these things arent boats.
Potentially the ugliest quad in existence.
Genuinely sad that guys think this is necessary,
Always enjoy rock’s content tho 👌🏻😎
Waste of good $$$...Crazy.
Thing sounds like crap
