I've always wanted the full scene on CZcams but I could never find it. I hope everyone likes this, even though it's not a fan made video, just a scene.
Just found out today that apparently Jensen wanted the reunion to be more intimate and he specifically WANTED to have Dean touch Cas face when they reunited. I guess they did shoot the scene that way. But then the makers edited it out. We didn't know about it because I guess Jensen said it during a private meet and greet and the OP was made to delete the post.
Me too I found about this and that is why I came back to see this scene and 0:43 we can actually see the Dean's hand reaching out for the face but then suddenly the scene cuts to Jared. I really do agree with Jensen, the reunion could have been so much better if they did not edit it out.

The show cut Dean caressing Cas' face, but they didn't cut out Dean being EXTREMELY happy and giddy right after Cas returns. His whole attitude changed. And that was Cas. Y'all can't say Dean's not in love with Cas. Destiel is in the writing no matter how much SPN/CW powers try and back peddle it.

@@Davidscomix it’s not reaching. All of the stuff in the set are deliberately done to look the way they do. They’re intentionally put there to serve a purpose. The people behind it put a lot of effort into that. It may sound like a stretch, but they’ve confirmed a lot of things about using the set design to hint at stuff in the story. Like how Dean rearranged his room and placed two night lamps besides his bed when Cas turned human (this was explicitly confirmed by the set designers to be intentional. I think there was an interview about this, I’m just too sleepy to look for it rn). Or the different fake brands of beer they use depending on the scene (e.g. they use a beer called Margiekugel’s for familial scenes, and use El Sol for unreality/dream scenes. People have done a lot of analysis about this one). They also do some sort of marriage/wedding imagery with Sam and Rowena, when she does her spell in The Rupture. And in Lazarus Rising, when Cas tries to talk to Dean in his real voice, we see “positive, no smoke” in the background which basically hints at the angels being real. I think for the blue cross, apart from the wedding imagery, is also a reference to a Romeo and Juliet film with a similar looking blue cross. This also isn’t the first time they’ve added a blue cross in the background in supernatural, they’ve done the same thing in the motel room that Dean destroys after he almost kills Cas because of The Mark. There’s so much more to list them all out but basically, the things in the set are there for a reason :)

If god has no power in the empty how tf did god resurrect Castiel when he repeatedly died. Unless god didn’t resurrect him and he just made a new one with the old ones memories and there’s actually a bunch of dead Castiels in the empty.

Actually Jareds acting is better than Jensens in that scene. Deans features were kinda cold all the way. Look at Sam before he hugs Cas - at least more emotion in his face than in Deans. But after all its just an excuse bc you wanted a "Destiel" moment, isnt it? Dont blame it on Jared, that for Jensen "Destiel dosent exist" - Jensen said that himself. And honestly Dean would choose Sam over Cas, its there for everyone to see. For that even Wincest would be more real than Destiel. But after all, we should just support the Actors not blaming them for things. Its not Sams/Jareds fault that Destiel isnt that what you think it is. If Jensen dosent want to give Dean the gay feelings for Cas, then thats it.
