I ordered sunglasses from ASOS and came completely broken. I contacted them and they sent me a new one without even questioning. 👍🏾
Because they cost them 2dollars to make maximum and you pay at least 10 times more...that is the secret
@@PrincessM888 all fashion brands are
WELLLL!!!!
@@PrincessM888 wait until you hear about Apple's iPhones
ASOS is my absolute favorite site. About 80% of my wardrobe is from there, simply because I am quite tall and the variety of their "Tall" section (and shoe sizes) is one of the best I've seen when it comes to online retail.
You are a manish woman.
I agree with literally every statement that was made lol.
Me too. I’m plus size and tall and ASOS have everything I need. Also the variety of models and the styling make it hard to shop somewhere else. The app is so well made and easy to use I can spend a lot of time on the app 😅
I love ASOS I can find unique clothes and they provide a variety of brands and I’ve never have had a bad experience with the brand.
Do you know which postal company delivers the packages
@@losmm5660 Most of the time Hermes
Asos is awesome, they have great prices, they sell great brands and quick shipping.
Online only brands was more of a gimmick back in the days, it’s only until recent years that it actually becomes a good reliable genuine alternative to actual retail stores
Though I got disappointed many times by the quality of the products and had to return, but tbh, I always came to ASOS whenever I need to buy any piece of clothes. Reasons are: 1. Their website UI. I have to say this is the most customer-friendly UI to me. They even always have videos included, so you could see the real fit of the model and even the feel of the textile. 2. Their customer service: always at customers’ convenience. Updating us in delivery. No-print return, etc. 3. Diversity: they understand the beauty in diversity and serve it. I struggle a lot as a petite in Europe and barely could by anywhere, but ASOS. Just one thing, I hope, ASOS can focus more on sustainable brands and thru their online platforms, raise customers’ awareness on this matter.
What a stressful yet rewarding, adrenaline-fuelled crazy ass adventure it must be to establish a company like this. Well done for breaking through
Been shopping ASOS products for years and I love their clothing.
because asos KNOWS how to market towards younger people, while still being somewhat affordable and modern !
For me the key is FREE shipping and FREE returns!!! So you are sure that if you don't like something you can return it with no cost. While in all the other shops you know you are gonna loose your money. I wish they had more variety though! if they had things that i like i would order very often, while now i order 3-4 times per year.
I think one of the most important thing left out of the video is that Bestseller best known form the Jack and Jones closing brand owns 1/4 of Asos but at the same time also owns 10% of zalando, Asos' biggest competition in europe.
If they owned a controlling share it would be interesting but if they're just regular stakeholders without the control then they're just there for the success and money lmao
As good as usual for CNBC explains article.
As a plus size individual living in Asia, it’s really a struggle to find nice clothes. For me, the best things about ASOS is how inclusive they are; offering plus size clothes with very nice silhouettes & still very trendy. Also their app interface is just amazing; easy to navigate, streamlined and very aesthetically pleasing to browse at! 💯
I shop at ASOS all
The time. I live in Sydney Australia and they are pretty quick in delivery. And their return policy also very easy
my days of buying fast fashion has ended
Same here!
Zara too. Yet I love it 😫 but slowed down buying the blu Levi’s jeans
I'm so happy to have found a fashion retailer that's not founded by a Chinese and not heavily made in china products. Been a consumer since 2021😊
"...20p per share and raised slightly over 20 million dollars" geez woman be consistent
Wow... Thanks for sharing...!!!!
Asos is not even the largest fashion e-tailer / fashion markteplace in Europe - Zalando is bigger with over 32M customers in Europe and over 3000 brands offered
In my years of studying abroad, I have bought so many things from ASOS such as ponchos, capes, and onesies.
Is this the Zappos for Apparel?
My go to site for Tommy and Calvin shirts.
My fav store
If you have invested $1000 on Amazon in 2001 you would be a millionaire by now.
Dang ♥️‼️
Pretty sure it’s only 500-600k
Love the commentator of the video!
Nice video.
I LOVE ASOS
Plus no avenues to ask questions or complain which is why I've ended up venting on CZcams 🤦🏽♀️😤😅

into conclusion i think you should take a
look at things first. for the past few months
the price of BTC has been fluctuating which
means the market is currently unstable

bullish. while others still continue to trade
without the fear of making lose, others
are being patient. it all depends on the

trading has been going smooth for me

ASOS & Boohoo are my favorites
I just heard of ASOS. Came here to learn more.
They are doing ethics audits but are they being ethical?
To be transparent
my whole family had stocks and sold them in the late 2000s would of been worth 7.8 million each
Never heard of this company
Are their shoes (like Nike) authentic, though?? Or counterfeit?
❤ASOS!
I buy all my The north face gear from this website
Literally just ordered from them 5 days ago! 😅
Wowwwww
Why not launch in India?
❤
1:06 Dominant player in the industry?
I have never heard of it before today
How have you never heard of them
Same here! LOL!
Me neither
My guess is you’re not a teenage or 20 something female. Perhaps also don’t have that demographic in your family
Same, I had no clue who they were. Thought it was a logistics company.

I bought some dresses from asos. O cannot deny the fact that it looks expensive and at a ok price
Also my gf told me how she could get pretty big sized.clothes and intimates. Way to go asos
since i started buying off asos i can never find the stuff i like in stores so I just buy online
I love ASOS.
well presented... well paced... but for those seeking deeper dive there ought be links to more information... especially those resources that have been vetted as reliable intel... which wikipedia article offer decent background? what are the tenh top sub-topics? examples=fulfillment; sustainability; cost-delay-quality due to overseas production; ethical sourcing; human rights; infamous last mile nightmares;
there's good reason why nobody trust the what's post on the internet... if you want to be a thought leader then lead the way by providing deeper background for those seeking to educate themselves... your bosses at the network know this and have left you and the other newcomers flapping in the breeze
ASOS is one of the best ever.
Love their brand
Cnbc international
I love ASOS, specially because of the fast delivery to the USA. With only $19 dollars per year you get the 2 days free delivery.
good store
0:15 Boxpark, Croydon
Anyone here who Never seen ASOS until now? 😐
I always buy from Asos but i never bought their product, i live in Russia and i only buy international brands , the delivery is fast and free when u pass 50$
If it’s success is so amazing why have we heard of it here in the US? This is the first time I’ve even seen or heard the name.
I have been shopping asos for a few years now. I kind of slow down on it because before they would give a return slip in the bag of the items you are ordering. Now, you have to print it out making it a little less convenient. Unless it is something I truly want and sure to keep then I would order it. But they do have a lot of unique options. And when they do have items on sale it's not a bad deal.
Easy return to 711 but takes1 month to get refund. Good design with mehh quality
In first quarter of 2020 Ecom in India was sustainable and now it is growing with 30%, fashion retailers like Nayka, Myntra are huge success. Huge no of startup in India now days is meat, milk and vegetables online delivery. Online education company like unedmy are huge success. Ecom industry in India will be bigger than China in few yrs. once India ease law in direct investment in retail whole world economy will boost up
I am switching back to in-store shopping after years of shopping online.
So true.
We need to go back to in-store shopping, I like you.
It'sthe best way
I love ASOS, but delivery is unstable... sometimes fast, but most often slow.... enough to make the buying experience a NEGATIVE one..
I don't trust Boohoo, from a buyers pov they resold dirty clothes with stains on them
Good company. Buy from them frequently, but more than once received someone else's order and their support team just doesn't respond!
When I have a problem with an order, I send a tweet to their ASOS help account. I think because it’s public they will respond more quickly there.
Never heard of it
Lol funny how the the next video is up: "Why is Shein beating Asos, H&M and Zara"
Not really a rags to riches story...
just another rich kid, who had family money, contacts starting a business...
Hanh, today my first time I heard it ☹️
Their customer service is the worst and some if their stuff is really terrible quality. The last time I ordered a pair of Adidas from them and Adidas seems like it was a used cause bottom and soles was dirty.
I love ASOS
ASOS is hit or miss for me. Their styles can truly be unique but for some items there is a "made in china" knockoff feel to them. Poor quality and all that. Fast fashion be like that.
@CNBC_International Could you do a similar video for boohoo?
Hola bellas imágenes
ASOS is not even in the top 100 of the largest retailers. Not sure they would fall into the top 1000 world-wide. Poor reporting, CNBC.
Is just false then.
Yeah but it's apparently the 5th biggest online fashion retailer in the world
Lost me at “great grandson of billionaire”
Does guys have good things...
Who here never heard of them before?
Same as SOS?
Idk where you’re from but It’s extremely popular in the UK
@@lexm17 live in the US so maybe that’s why
Me me
The quality has gone so immensely down though- even the brands aren’t as good as they are straight from their store.... I will still continue to shop there though (and return the bad offs)
Every week they have a 20% sale lol, just make it permanent
ASOS, Apple and Bitcoin. Three things I could have invested my savings in back before their shares/units were affordable, and would now make me a multi millionaire. I am so annoyed every time I think that.
Refreshing presenter when there is no vocal frying and monotone
Alibaba is the best
Yeah but what you buy can take *months* to arrive
Love u ASOS
In 2017 there share price was already above 5000 Pounds. CNBC should check their facts before posting a video that can be verified easily by anyone. There is one thing where their so called analysts guess daily share price as if they know something and then this 🤦♂️
Asos trades on the London Stock Exchange, where everything is traded in pennies. So Asos was actually trading at 5,000p or £50, not £5,000
Does ASOS use Chinese cotton and cheap labor? That would make a big difference.
A company with a stupid organization and a stupid support service that acts according to stupid instructions. Since March 31, I have not been able to return the money that was allegedly transferred to me for a refund. We managed to find out that the refund did not go through Worldpay, provided them with evidence, but they also respond with the standard phrase "contact the bank if you have not received a refund yet." They just stole my money!

I am sorry but last two shopping experience that asos product quality is very poor
Since july asos has not delivered m order. They hv shut down all there contacts. Im single mum and the list they Can do is give me back my money

Like asos, maybe h&m should leave China market as well. The longer the company sticks to China, the greater loss it will suffer. Rather, focus on other potential markets for expansion and look for profitability.
Lol Hope they should learn from clown like yourself. I guess they are doing something right if not better than your idea if they decided to expand in China.
Stop buying fast fashion !!!
the only contra about ASOS
everything is sold out quickly!!!!
First... I heard of this company
ASOS is not popular in Asia
Worst customer service, ever. You cannot get any response from them.
