good for you for saying accurate with qualifyed shooters, because reviews for this gun is amazing and accurate but there are those who can't aim that would rather give the rifle a bad name then to admit they can't shoot

Hi guys I have a x bolt 300 win mag for 3 years now , very happy whit the accuracy ( for a lite hunting rifle). I hand load my ammo and my groupings are 3/4-1' all the time .Just add a muzzle brake on my rifle and I think it's a good rifle for the money.

Talk about the X-Bolt PRO model factory lapped barrel. My 6.5 PRC Pro gives me 1/2 MOA 4 shot ragged holes at 100 yards. (5 shots heats the barrel up and it begins t open up to 1" MOA. even with 5 minutes between shots. This in 100 F. days, BTW. YMMV

Well… credit where credit is due… My 270WIN X-bolt hunter out of the box is the most precise hunting rifle that I own. It is consistently grouping moa to sub moa without heaps of drama in load development. Point of impact is also very stable. These miroku barrels are indeed very well made and the factory bedding is very well done. I prefer the feel of the triggers on my Sako and Tikka… but… the X-bolt is grouping more consistently even with a trigger that i do not prefer… the target doesn’t lie…
Bravo browning!… the good folks at Miroku make a damn fine rifle.

No offence but the guarantee is 1.5 MOA? Tikka with pillar bedding guarantee is 1 MOA and two of two I've owned deliver on that.

Well, this is my second Browning rifle, I will see if it lives up to the A-Bolt rifle I once owned. This new X-Bolt rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. I'm a hard loader so I will get the most out of the rifle and cartridge. I shall see if this rifle lives up to my old A-Bolt chambered .300 WSM. Also, from reading the reviews a lot of people are not satisfied with the present day X-Bolt rifles.

    • @Nick-wn1xw

A hard loader.....so you deliberately stress your rifle and components thinking you are some kind of super shooter.

Have you been able to find anything on disassembling the bolt? I have not, very frustrating. I will go back to a Model 700 if I cannot find something soon. Thanks for posting this.

Funny, my Tikka T3 pure stock, - adding a titanium recoil lug will shoot sub .5 moa off the bench If I do my part. Usually the first 2 in the same hole, 3rd just outside. Only 3 round groups because it 's in 270 wsm which heats the barrel up pretty quick. And that's with factory ammo. My other Tikka is almost as good a shooter as well. Plus it has one of, if not the best factory trigger out there.
I'll also admit I don't own a browning, but I have shot an old think it's BLR in 22-250 and it does shoot great. Thing is, I don't want to risk ending up with a dud. And You rarely here of duds coming from Tikka, compared to most other brands. (Won't touch a freedom arms produced Remington.) I also think Howa, and Weatherby Vanguard 2's are great shooter's for the price.
Not saying Browning is bad, again, I just hate putting my hard earned dollars into taking a risk that I end up with a dud, and gotta go through warranty departments etc.

Please make this rifle available in Japan.
To buy this rifle at the moment there is only a reverse import method and the price will be over $ 4000.
Besides, Japanese agents do not provide repairs or part j items.このライフルを日本でも買えるようにして下さい。
    現時点でこのライフルを買うには逆輸入しか方法は無く値段も4000ドル以上になります。
    その上、日本の代理店は修理や部j品の提供をしてくれません。

bedding "goop" is just slightly harder than rubber cement when dried. Can almost peel it off with your fingernail.
trigger housing is cheap cast aluminum, will break or crack if you try to drive the mushroomed head rivets out.
These two things can be remedied easily enough, otherwise a decent rifle for maybe $500

These browning barrels are neither cold hammer forged nor made from a dual alloy steel. Instead they are just steel, button rifled average barrels. So how are these one of "the best" production barrels again??

      @trevorkolmatycki4042 Před rokem

I have an xbolt in 300win mag. It shoots 3.5 inch groups at 100y with premium (very expensive) factory loads on a bad day. On a good day it will shoot 2 inch groups with the same factory ammo.
With hand loads that have been tweaked by a master reloader, it will punch the same hole at 100y regardless if it’s a hot barrel, dirty barrel, cold barrel, wet barrel or even if I’ve been screaming profanities at her all day. (Not exaggerating)
My CZ on the other hand will shoot 1.25 inch groups all day, everyday regardless of what it’s fed. Hand loads, factory junk or premium load don’t seem to matter.
The xbolt also likes to eject the spent round up into the bottom of the scope, bouncing back into the action and when it ejects correctly it barely gets them out of the action. This has spoiled more than one follow up shot while hunting. Yay!
No such issues with the CZ.
I love my browning like a crazy girlfriend. She’s fun to play with, but she drives my f*@king nuts.

your hell's canyon rifle stock need to have ADJUSTABLE CHEEK RISER and ADJUSTABLE LENGTH OF PULL!!! the rear sling point will catch on rear bag, provide side sling points! it's like making a super car without seats. if I only shoot short range, any cheapo will do the job.
