The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy this holiday season helping a local man gift $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho. Secret Santa is a real person who wants to remain anonymous and hopes to bless as many individuals in our community as he can.

I have not celebrated Christmas or any holidays for two years now since my husband died. I'm packing up and heading to MO in the spring once I get the projects on my home ready to sell. I just came across this Secret Santa thing tonight and I just sat here and balled my eyes out, so emotional and a beautiful thing to do to help so many. What a wonderful example of Christ like love.❤

Hello , I think I may understand what your possibly going through. I lost my daughter when she was 9 years old. I thought my whole entire life wasn't worth any breath I took. I was dead to society and myself. I sold my home and my cars and donated every penny to childrens foundation to cancer. That was 9 years ago. I know now that my daughter was in heaven and it was selfish of me to act this way. A person once told me while I was going through this, while your daughter is in heaven waiting for christ to come for her she has a candle lit for guidance. When you weep of sorrow, it burns out her candle for any one to guide her to the gates of heaven. Be gappy and thankful that our Father choose her not to suffer but to be with Him. Let her candle burn bright so she can be guided to everlasting life without pain and suffering. How that struck me so hard. I did and I finally married and bought a home and started partaking into society again. I know she sees me and is proud and extremely happy for me.

I have not celebrated a holiday since my mom died in 2013 this year my wife suggested that i cook thanksgiving dinner for the both of us so i went out and bought two hams i donated one to the salvation army and the second me and my wife will be cooking this year mom i miss you everyday

I recently found out I have some Indian heritage. I find it very coincidental, because I have always had a fascination with Indian culture and religion. The Epics, poems, etc.; have always intrigued me and made me believe humanity has risen and fallen multple times.

I often worry about the Man who works at a Grocery Store, one of his daughters was diagnosed with CRPS. I So Hope & Pray his daughter doesn't have to experience this "Nightmare" and what it does to someone, as it absolutely Sucks! I've been fighting it for 25+ years after a Job injury in 1996/97, the thought that a Child has to experience this Nightmare is mind blowing. I would rather take it from her, as No child should have to experience this Nightmare, it will effect and change her and I'm So Sorry that she has to experience this "Beast"! I have been keeping her and her family in my thoughts and Prayers!

What a wonder young man. When there are so many worthless young people out there today, he is fine example of everything good in a difficult situation. We all should be thankful for our health, jobs, friends & family and most of all God. I am 75 and I will try everyday when I wish something on my body didn’t hurt, to think of all these people that are so much worse off than myself. What a lesson of love.

I am poor. I go to the grocery store with a list because I don't want any overdrafts. I grow my own food to help out. I live on a fixed income. I have given much of my time going to school to be an addictions counselor. I loved helping people and to see people that care warms my heart. My mom is almost 87 and I can't take the hour drive to see her because my 2005 Toyota 4 runner is on it's last leg. BUT...I am going to win the lottery and get my car fixed like brand new. I don't want a new car. I just want mine fixed It needs a new wire harness because there was mice damage in the wiring. When I win the Lottery I am going to help others!!! I can't wait to help others.

I don't know who Secret Santa is but that person is a saint.
Imagine if Jeff Bezos, Marc Zuckerberg or Elon Musk would have the same humanity as Secret Santa.
Do some easy research Bezos total for donations is 3 billion, Elon 6 billion, Zuckerberg 3 billion $$. People throw out these ridiculous comments and it’s so irritating. Obv you are making a derogatory comment about them and you have no idea who secret Santa is. Who knows you prob wouldn’t like them either. People talk horrible about Michael Jackson and he donated all his proceeds from the Victory and Dangerous Tour totaling $500 million and even after death he gives 20% of everything he earns to charities. These totals are just of known reported donations but they are silent givers also.
