I think the whole idea was to give her a joker-like backstory. Like in the Nolan's movies, when the Joker will tell a different story about his scars each time and you'll never really know the truth

i think its a combination of ledgers joker and everything everywhere all at once. she could be pulling a joker, or she there could be truth in what shes saying and she is going through stories of her alternate selves as a interdimensional traveler. she does say every person in every world.
