yall put the wrong gus vs jones fight
Yes, they're do it wrong
Should gus vs Jones 2 right?
@@anasadnan8387 yeah
They left out jones having to relinquish the belt multiple times! Either do to injuries or legal problems! They want us to forget but we don’t!
For real 😂
These videos also act as a low-key Bruce Buffer Evolution.
Same for Dana and Joe. Only one who hasn't lost any hair nor gotten any greyer is Herb Dean lol Big John still has great hair even today but there r specks of grey on top and on his face nowadays. If Bruce grew a beard he'd be a greyhead and greyface.
Jiri admitting he was out instead of using it to get a rematch was one if the best shows of respect ever
But what is sad is that fans of Peraira still use it as a proof that it was good stoppage.. It was far from good stoppage.
@@jirihutecka9020 brain dead thing to say bro. He said he was out, the ref saw he was out, good stoppage. Just cos someone wakes up fast doesn't mean they should let them keep going? He was out so the fights over
@@darrenjackson2800 The last thing that Jiri wanted is to say some excuse. Later he said it was bad stoppage. He was hardly "out" He was rocked. That is huge difference. When you are out your nervous system shuts down your muscles in a millisecond and your body goes down like a bag of potatoes that is not what happened in that fight.. So your comment is brain dead sorry..
@@jirihutecka9020 when your a little rocked you dont go completely limp and fall back bro
@@darrenjackson2800he wasn’t out and the stoppage was early. But before you think I’m against you. That was a JUSTIFIED early stoppage. No one can tell me with a straight face being fully serious “Jiri could’ve fought that one out” Jiri wouldn’t have fought for several months if they let them continue. Right hook, left hook, a dozen of elbows to the head and would’ve turned to ground n pound if it continued. To people that think that stoppage wasn’t justified and believe “ he’d man it out his chin is made of steel Jiri got this” my words to them is literally I apologize to all hardcore fans that have to deal with these people that don’t know enough😂
Tito is the meme of a lifetime but that is the pinnacle of sportsmanship him wrapping the belt around randy 💯
He's a fake megalomaniac. He did that to save face.
Also super respectful with wanderlei Silva
Hill is still salty as we speak 😂
Hill held the Belt.. why would he be salty
His dumb ahh not even on the thumbnail 🤣 hell yes
@@CeBmehe is jealous and salty cause he got his ass whooped by poatan

That’s funny af idk why😂😂
Chuck is the reason I've been watching MMA this since 2006. Thanks Iceman, you gave my life some excitement.
Dude remember when fighters went there to fight by KO every time? These were the times
He was a celebrity in his day
Chuck's fight against Rich is My personal favorite Liddell fight...
Same, but 2004 for me. Saw him get sparked by Rashad live at UFC 88. That sucked lol. Also got to see Hendo, Palhares, and Ryo Chonan though!
I remember exactly where i was at during rampage vs liddell. My friends and i threw a massive house party. The entire house erupted during the finish. One of my favorite memories. These fights are like mini time vaults of our pasts.
Jon's gonna be crazy after seeing alex in middle of the thumbnail 🤣🤣
Why would he be..
He rules the Heavyweight division
Hes had the title from 2011 to 2020( ik he got stripped in between) he should be the centre
Alex definitely deserve it for saving the show twice in a row...... Currently he is the Guy..... Dana thought he was worthy of 300 ..... Jones is awesome but not active
Alex is the current champ, jon is the hw champ.
@CeBme what? He had one fight against a non-champion and is ducking the only contender
Glover Teixeira is a legend
Anthony Johnson- what a class act
It's a shame he never won the belt
It's a sad feeling 😢... Rumble ❤

Jamal Salthill not being on the thumbnail is PERFECT 🤣🤣💀
Nobody wants a cry baby who blames the ref for not "resetting" the fight (even though it was him who comitted the foul) as a champion. Get the salty guy out of here, if Alex wins against Jiri again let him fight Jiri to see if he's real champion material.
That title changed damn near every month until Bones arrived 😂

So you knew these fighters first hand?
Anyone else having that moment where you realize just how long you’ve been a fan of MMA?
Nah
I just said that to my wife a few minutes ago.
Yeah
Ever since I saw Fedor fight Andre Arlovski in affliction on cable television in a hotel in Montana when I was 14. I remember thinking what is this? My eyes were glued to the tv and I’ve been hooked ever since
Apparently not long enough for me I never knew the light heavy use to be middleweight

Welcome to the Machida era
That first fight Bruce buffers voice is nothing like now, definitely got better over the years
love whoever came up with the "and new" vs "and still" announcement for title fights as well
"... got better ..." 😐
Now Buffer is a cartoon.
Shogun rau was a great champion
Mauricio Rua!! Legend
OGs remember when Adam Sandler was a ref back in '97, good times! 1:26
As long as Jones was around, no fighter really took that belt from him and it's kinda impressive to think how easily he got it back and could still get it back if he wanted to
We all know reyes beat him
👍🏻
the eye poke king always gets his belt
He didn't easily get it back, Gustafson was kicking his ass.
Reyes beat him and he roided his whole career
Anthony 'Rumble' Johnson ❤😊.... Thankyou Brother. Remembered Forever ❤
Wow, it's amazing to see the evolution of champions over the years! 💪 From legends to rising stars, each one has left a unique mark on UFC history. Who's your all-time favorite light heavyweight champ? 🥊

The Jon/DC era was the peak of this division
Glad to see Shogun as UFC Light Heavyweight Champ at least for once.
The sequence I remember that made Jones relinquish the belt : Following his first title defense against Cormier, he tested positive for cocaine before the fight. They were due for a rematch, and Cormier was ready, but Jones tested positive for steroids. This pushed back the date and year of their rematch. Following their rematch and another title defense, Jones again tested positive for steroids. He entertained the idea that someone laced his food, but at that point everyone was kind of in agreement Jones is unreliable. But he wins fights.
That’s the wrong Jones vs Gustafsson fight
lol literally I’ve been checking all the dates and everything was really confused lol
Shogun is my most favorite fighter of all time. You can argue he might not be the best, but his prime during his pride days until he beat Machida, I don't feel a vibe more violently everytime this guys fights that you can almost feel that there's a knockout coming either way.
golver story is incredible.
The Machida Era. What an amazing time
I often forget that Forrest held the belt. Love that guy.

Rip to Anthony 'Rumble' Johnson🕊❤ Such a great athelete and had a great personality🙇🏻♂️ One of the heaviest hands ever in the sport, sent Dc flying with a puch across the octagon!
No one has a better hit list than Jones as champion from his title defenses.
The LHW was the best division at the time.
Best MMA fights. Thanks UFC for this. More power! Philippines loves UFC ❤❤❤
I love how they showed Jones VS Gus 1 instead of the actual fight that took place when Jon finished him and rewon the belt 😂
I have immense respect for Glover Teixeira. What a legend. Been in absolute brawls. Oldest LGW Champ showing that "never give up" atitude. Then coaching Alex Pereira to a title. Salute! o7
Proper Sunday afternoon viewing. 👍
It’s incredible to see such kindness and love. Thank you all!

Jon won the 2nd belt on the REMATCH with Gustafson, not the 1st fight shown here.

Jonny "Bones" Jones
That left hand by Pereira was deadly. You'll never know when it's coming. I'm so excited for the rematch with Jiri. Jiri is the only one who I think can match with Alex so far in LHW 😅
Dana's evolution is shocking
21:50 wrong fight guys
I want you guys to do one. of the greatest rematches, trilogies included
UFC were supposed to put the Jones vs Guf 2 fight. The first one they showed was a tittle defense years ago.
You missed the best part of allthose fights: Randy Couture really wacking Vitor Belfort like I have never seen anyone being pounded before or after, holding his neck and digging in his face, that was some payback for almost ripping one of eyes off, what a beating, so much so that Belfort gave up.
13:15 forrest getting ready to walk off if he lost 🤣
JON BON JONES❤ (INDIA)
Bloody hell. I've been watching since 1997? 😮 time fkin shoots by.

Which one? There was lots of fights
Unbelievable! - Joe Rogan
23:10 did you see the look on Dana’s face when Jon’s won the belt over Gustafson
gotta love the old school commentary didnt hold back ahah 🤣🤣
The golden age era of the LHW was absolutely brutal. Almost all champions got flat-lined losing their belts due to just bleed refs and lack of technical defense.
My favorite light heavy weight... Rampage Jackson.. Anthony Johnson & Rashad Evans
So many finishes! For a very long time, LHW was the deepest division in the UFC and had the most star power. Heres hoping jiri or poatan hold the strap for the foreseeable future. Best representations of the div when looking at current roster
Where’s Reyes?
Oh he's there's? At 23:18 getting knocked out by Blachowicz 😂
Getting rocked by Blachowicz
Props to UFC for starting with Frank the legend Shamrock. First Light Heavyweight champ!
Never realized how long buffer has been with the company lol holy shit
Rampage is beast
Crazy what jones did to shogun
Man those early 2000s days of Chuck and Randy were the days. Before bones came along and dominated the next decade. Back then they only had 1 ppv every couple of months so it was so big. I’ll say todays fights are more entertaining though, there was a lot of boring wrestling matches back then
I went nuts watching my boy shogun KO machida for the belt back in college. But on the flip side was so hurt seeing Chuck KO’d by rampage and shogun absolutely dominated by bones lol
My dad Stu used to say: 'You can't be a World Champion if you don't think like a World Champion' 😎
Always crazy seeing young Dana
Texeira got the first champ at his age 42! Legendary a human victorious champ ever!
Crazy how many champs have actually won & loss in the FIRST round back in the day.
The difference of shougan's face when he wins the tittle and then the face when he gets that brutal beating 😢
Forest griffin 08 was legendary
Rampage Knocked out Liddell and woke him up in one second, Amazing!!
Vitor dedicating the fight to his kidnapped sister and getting booed because of the way the fight ended is an all time sad moment in the sport. Even worse when you know what happened to her
i wish we could see more old videos of eddie bravo and joe rogan in the ufc and them commenting.
Best of the fighting
Man, walk down memory lane
Daniel cormier never beat JBJ but he deserves to be champion!
Jiri and Alex are the only LW champs I genuinely like in that division.
Jiri went completely limp that was a good stoppage lol
This is the first time I’ve ever seen the UFC include Frank Shamrock in anything. Maybe HOF one day?
