- Terriers are used to flush out a fox that has gone to ground. Fox hunting with a pack of hounds is illegal in UK. However, Fox hunts are still carried out despite the ban.

I’m currently doing a University project against fox hunting and all hunting of animals within the UK and I was just wondering, considering this is from a month ago is it still as serious as it was before the 2004 ban?, obviously statistically speaking it won’t be easy to get the right answer as it’s gone underground and the hunters don’t want to be found out but from the point of view of a saboteur or saboteurs would you all agree it’s still very prevalent in todays society or has it declined?, thank you to anyone that answers it means so much! I want to stop these people at all costs! ❤
Many hunts continue exactly as before the ban. With the help of local police and biased court systems. There have been very few convictions under the hunting act, and the perpetrators still go out and do it all over again with impunity. Just to be clear I am not a sab yet. Just someone who's looked at this a little recently.
I was always ambivalent to the hunting debate, as I eat meat and see no problem doing so. But I watched a film called "a minority passtime" here on YT, and it opened my eyes to the true nature of the blood sport known as "fox hunting". Good luck in your project.

Well said. I can't abide people who force their beliefs on others. Don't like hunting? Fine. Then don't hunt, but they don't have a right to stop others hunting.
Because fox hunting was banned and is supposed to now be illegal and they are trying to expose these people breaking the law.
