- In this video I replace my round B8 steering wheel with a custom wheel and airbag from Ask Carbon (@askcarbon). The steering wheel is spec'd with forged carbon, red stitching, perforated leather, and a LED display module with shift lights. The entire kit is plug and play, and the button controls besides the NAV button are functional.

Great video - I wished I'd seen it sooner. I made the mistake of buying an LED CF wheel from Vicrez and it was a complete nightmare. It took months to get to me (2 months late), and they sent the wrong type of wheel that I'm still fighting with them about. Their customer service is a complete joke too. Lesson learned on my part for sure

Do you know if there is a way to tie in the NAV button and make it functional? It looks like the models they advertise for the R8 have the same buttons as my stock B8 S4 wheel. I was thinking of having one of those made with an S4 badge instead of this one. Unless the NAV button can be made functional.

There’s a TSB from Audi that says it’s normal for up to 30 seconds, however they do have updated upper tensioners for cars that experience it for longer
I had it for 2 seconds and 2 months later the chain and tensioners had to be changed. Its simply not normal.
