CaseAgainstFaith1 I’ve since replaced the two sliding fence pieces with one continuous piece. I like it a lot better.

Doesn't the fence slide far enough to the right to use with the router without that extension?

Sugarsail1 Yes but you wouldn’t be able to cut rabbets into the edge, at least not without running the risk of damaging the fence. That’s why most router table fences have a space or recess there.
