yet these trains are pretty rare in europe if available at all. I've traveled all over the continent and never seen these locomotives with an engine in the front.
in europe they're usually Alstom or stadler which are EMU units and most of the railways in europe are electrified which allow for a quiet and fast ride. the US only has the north east corridor electrified.

@user-ft2dq1dt8n Dutchie here, i’ve used the Eurostar multiple times before, too bad our rail here in Europe isn’t an internationally connected system. Hey Tony. I really enjoyed the vid. I must reveal that my buddy and I rode the Brightline from Miami to WPB the very first week it went live to the public. It's probably unbelievable that the ticket price was just $10 for the opening weekend. Inside the Downtown Miami complex, my first feeling was like "I'm I at the Airport or what?" We did not do premium level, but with the layout, the comfort, the views (without wraps), the newness, and the cleanliness of the passenger spaces, the experience was still amazing. Your production quality is on point; optics, composition, transitions, and story-telling are all top

@@tonygauthierjr Nope. Not even close. First of all, both the Acela and the Northeast Regional run at 125+ mph for more than 50% of their routes. They're both considered HSR lines by international standards.
Brightline doesn't even come remotely close to that. About 50% of the Brightline route is at 80 mph, about 20% is at 110 mph (with interruptions), and less than 8% is at 125 mph, but for some reason single-tracked. Amtrak has several routes that stay above 110 mph for more than 40% of their routes - the Wolverine, the Lincoln Service, and the several routes that run on the NEC.
And all the Western US routes use the exact same Siemens trains as Brightline. What they are good at is marketing. That's it. You just bought their sales pitch.

@@samtrak1204 Nope. We have an actual international HSR standard that tells us what is and what isn't HSR. Both the Acela and the Northeast Regional are HSR because they stay above 125 mph for more than 50% of their route.

Swear to God i have no idea how they think theres enough people needing this many trains to carry people back and forth between Orlando and Miami. A friend of mine has been on the train several times now and he says the trains are nowhere near filled.
