- Thanks to Soundwave festival, we had chance to speak with HIM's frontman Ville Valo just minutes before his performance in Sydney.
During our interview with Ville, we were able to cover a range of topics, including his memories from his previous visit to Australia to play Soundwave, songwriting process, his latest album 'Tears on tape' and the difficulties while recording it, tattoos, some fan questions and much more! - Zábava
That's how an interview should be made. Good questions, making the guest feel like home, no bullshit, straight to the point. Really good job and happy to see Valo back in shape spreading love metal all around the world
Thanks a lot for your kind words
Brilliant interview. Good to see Ville looking healthy.
Ville is sounding and looking better than ever.the interviewer did a great job.His questions were great and to the point.so happy to get a new interview :)
ville is an inspiration..
My aunt's old neighbor actually taught Chris Isaak how to play the guitar when he was little.....funny how things work out in the end.
What
Great interview, I love the band H.I.M and Ville is one of my favorite singers I absolutely enjoyed this interview
Great interview!!! Ville is awesome!!!
Thanks for a great interview,wonderful :)
Great interview!
I really liked this interview, it's always nice to know what Ville has to say and it's cool when interviews are fresh so we get to know new stuff. The interviewer has a funny accent (not trying to be rude) but as i'm not an english-speaker I understood better haha anyway, keep it up with the good job, bye :)
ha ha true...not all of us are native speakers either, but we try our best ha ha. Thanks for your kind words :)
Spotlight Report
Thankfully Ville's english is better than many natives, haha. Great interview guys.
"...A little country...behind God's back." -- I knew he was going to say that haha. It's funny, Ville seems to get these pre-occupations with America-English phrases and uses them a lot. It's almost like he's trying to find the Finnish equivalent in his head as he says them. Or maybe I've watched too many interviews...lol
I hear the same! I have watched a lot of interviews in every conceivable language, but Ville often reverses the expression. For example, I would have written "...Hearts on fire, but my Soul is frozen. " I believe he sings "...Hearts are frozen, Souls on fire."
I love him so. ♥ (pun intended)
Dat voice :3
Propsit Beastmilkin paidasta
What the fuck he is 32 but looks 68
he is 37 actually and yeah those stupid hats he wears makes him look so much older :/
Honestly I got to say this cos it starts to piss me off so much!!!id give anything I have to be able to have a job like that and I mean to be the interviewer and im sure theres plenty of ppl like me so there isnt a shortage of choice so I dont understand why they choose ppl like this guy who for a start cant even speak clear and hasnt really got swagger or like a cool look!why dont they choose a hot girl or boy, dressed cool etc??i dont get it..if I was the interviewer id try to make an effort..pay attention to interviews in general, theres always ppl like this guy!
Honestly, you've got your facts mixed up here. Being an interviewer has nothing to do with looks and it shouldn't. The guy is casually dressed and he's also a fan, not a random reporter who has no idea who Ville is. He knows what to ask and his English grammar is good (who cares about the accent, who doesn't have an accent? The important thing is sentence structure and good flow.) I'm an interviewer as well and if you think for some reason that an interviewer's job is to look hot, you are totally wrong. Especially if it's a woman and she's dressed provocatively, that's the worst distraction for the interviewee. I'm also a DJ and guess what? Some people think a female DJ's job is to look hot and be easy but it's not, it's only to play f***ing music and she can be as distant and unavailable as she wants. Stop spreading stupid prejudice.
yessss guuuurl
