Perspective was always so hard for me to execute. This helps so much. This helps so much! You remind me of Bob Ross. I love “this is kind of a shout-out to using a better kind of paper” 😂 true.
Haha thanks for watching and for a flattering comparison to Bob Ross, too kind. Paper really does make a world of difference tho 😮
Heyyy just a request, could u try watercolour anime art??? Cz that would look so cool
oof, never really done it, maybe one day!
Thank you for clear explanations.
Thanks for watching!
Bro this channel is wild. It just appeared out of nowhere from a short and like sometimes shorts transition to videos of worse quality but this is matched perfectly. Like the short supported the video, amazing job. And abt the video you do a phenomenal job retaining my attention while explaining everything we would need to know (maybe I don’t paint). And maybe it’s cuz liek u are actively moving around and your voice has like an intrigue and human like conversational tone but your also showing the painting on the other side which, and i mean this as a compliment, reminds me of like the short video style of the subway surfers and podcast on the same screen which i love lol. and speaking of active conversation you are takimg away the paintjng for the parts you think are more important so we immediately focus or attention completely on what your saying and you correspond with your tone. its like a masterclass in new CZcams videos that dont have to be video essays. so good.
Hahaha I love the little jokes that you said in this video. Genuinely got me laughing. This is what I call quality content and I’m so glad CZcams’s algorithm brought me to you. I love your art!
Thanks Troy!
When I say I cannot wait is I cannot wait.
Yay!
Love the detail on the clouds. ☁️
Thanks!
Great video, just caught the end of the premiere! XD I’m going to watch the whole thing now
Glad you caught a bit of it! thanks for tuning in!
Now im not painter, letalonea Water color painter, but those streasks add a lot to it, and tbh i really like how it made the painting look 😊
We use the same paper. 😊 I could buy it cheaper at Temu. Thanks for sharing. This video is helpful esp. for me who just started watercolor a couple of months ago.
Do just go straight into painting that area after laying down water or do you wait a bit dor the paper to absorb it?
I loved your utube on underpainting! I enjoy your commentary but, I have a probably weird question. I’m trying to decide where your light is coming from. It seems to me it would have to be a setting Sun far off in your perspective, to have the shadows where your rocks are. I get the foliage on the mountain, but it almost seems that your shadows would be on the side of the mountain ridges that you can’t see. And the dark side we are seeing would be mostly just kind of diffused natural light, with maybe some shadows really deep in the fold. I know this seems strange, maybe I’m not getting it. Thanks, hope you realize this is just a question considering I’m sort of just an intermediate artist.
Reminds me of the Napali (sp?) coast on Kauai.
