    I have the 3/8 brother to your old snappy 1/4 inch. I knew that looked like an MDlee special Monster mini pliers set before you opened it. I'm really digging all the Mac stuff. That's a sweet ass copper faced hammer. I'm also a big fan of the 3/8" butterfly impacts. I used one back in school and that thing was killer. I still don't know why I don't have one of my own yet.

    • @johnclintonmusicandmore
      @johnclintonmusicandmore  Před 6 lety +1

      yea the 3/8 butterfly impact is great they fit every were i like mac and snap on a lot the copper faced hammer used to have cow hide on the other side weird combo

    • @ronsbeerreviewstools4361
      @ronsbeerreviewstools4361 Před 6 lety +1

      Usually leather head hammers, for striking forged (red hot hot) metal with out leaving hammer marks.

    • @HardKnocksForge
      @HardKnocksForge Před 6 lety +1

      Rons Beers & Ales right, you can also use a wood faced hammer for not leaving hammer marks also. Those are much more expensive than old wooden baseball bats though.

  • @BruceLyeg
    @BruceLyeg Před 6 lety

    Lots of nice tools. How do you like the Gear Wrench screw drivers? I was thinking of buying that set. I've got a ton of screw drivers already but would kinda like a nice matched set. Also, how often do you use the butterfly 3/8" impact? I come across them for sale used quite often but don't know if I'd use it all that much.
    Thanks for the tour. Good to see you making videos, now I need to watch the rest of them.

    • @johnclintonmusicandmore
      @johnclintonmusicandmore  Před 6 lety +1

      the gear wrench screw drivers are good the handles feel good the butterfly i use every time i work i have had it for 20+ years love it you would to get one with adjustable power knob there pretty powerful

    Nice collection but I don't understand; you have ratchets in one drawer, extensions in another, and sockets in another - so for most auto applicaTIons you have to open three drawers?!?! Obviously efficiency isn't your strong suit.
