I would imagine, if you put the 360 together and got it started, you learned pretty quick that the 360 is externally balanced and doesn't belong in front of a hydraulic clutch. I learned that bit of knowledge 40 years ago, with a '67 W300 with a 360; it ran a few hundred miles before the crank snapped in half.

Just looked at a 78 power wagon. Has the 318 in it... been sitting quite a few years. If I could afford to get it back running, I'd have gotten it. It's all about the lack of finances right now.
Nice project! Ive got my grandpas fargo, it started out as a shortbox 4x4 with the 318 small block. Its since had the frame extended and a motorhome put on it. Im working on restoring the whole thing and bring her back to life, but i wanna put a big block in it. Wouldnt happen to be interested in selling your parts truck box would you aha!
No but come to find out the guy ran it with a lot of water in the oil and it just ate everything up ended up selling it after I fixed it so it was a nice truck
@@johnclintonmusicandmore kinda breaks my heart as you did so much work on that Power Wagon . I was really looking forward in seeing more videos on that truck .
