The animation itself is about the Dad getting fired by his job because he's very late, yet he blamed the daughter for it because the daughter keeps asking him if they could spend time together. The Dad isn't aware that it's father's day, he read the letter that the daughter gave to him and yet sooner the Dad cried/got upset because he regrets of what he did for his daughter.

It's really cool how you are able to express emotion in such simple character designs. I haven't seen anything like this before. Kind of reminds me of old CZcams stick-figure fighting animations, except this story is a lot more narratively complex.
Ik this comment is old af, but have you heard of Animator vs Animations/Animations vs Minecraft? They are a CZcams series back from those days and have stick figures. Fighting. With LORE!!! Ik the Minecraft stuff may make it look like stuff for lil kiddos but even that series has an amazing and at some points heart-rending story lol(You can also just watch Animator vs Animation if you want and still get the gist)

Fuck,, that hit home way to hard, i started crying because i may not have gone through exactly what that poor kid went through but i was emotionally neglected by my parents and my brother,, basically my whole family, they used to always fight so the internet and my mother/father's room was my escape (context: they never use their room as they almost always use the living room) my childhood was pretty much a room :( and they were surprised a few days ago when i was forced to have a talk with my mom and tell her the truth that i don't love her, i don't hate her(but i don't like her either) but i wouldn't say i love her because just as i said to her "how am I supposed to love someone who didn't love me and someone i don't even know" (I've lived with her all my life it's just,,, it never feels like i live with her :(((( ) also that she pretty much has been insulting me my whole life , although that's pretty much what she was surrounded by as a kid :( i used to be so happy as a lil kid,,, fuck i miss it :(((( this animation just,, it hits..it hits me right in the heart, all i ever wanted was for my parents to love me.

It's horrible when parents think they can do anything to you just to calm thenselves from problems they have, I didn't have that but I hope no one else has it, with me, my dad and I never had a close relationship, while he wasn't abusive, he did things that were unreasonable and hurt me, sometimes he hit me for bad reasons that were good enough for him (among other things) and now, because of all of that, I hold him great resentment, he started living with my sister and I again because my mom died a few months ago and, while he doesn't treat me the same way anymore since I'm 17, he still has some annoying attitudes and behaviours and, in addition to that, all that resentment I have for him resurfaced along with grudges I have, I'm talking about this with my psychologist and I see this problem might never solve itself, I'm being way more rebellious with him than how I was before and I'm being meaner to him on many occations, maybe things will change, maybe not, I just hope I don't end up exploding and greatly hurting him and myself
Update: In the end I did end up exploding, I told my dad bad and horrible things and I'll probably have to switch psychologists soon, so things are bad but not worse overall, I'm feeling better rather than worse for exploding to my dad but I really like my current psychologist, I hope I can still have sessions with her...

I was 10 when i last watched this...I remember I loved this video so much. It brings a tear to my eye to see this was 2 years ago, I've only just turned 12 and lots of things have made me feel older than I am.
