Male Gaze = Hypermasculine, Female Gaze = Pretty Boys. If you're hypermasculine you'll be respected by men more and fit into a niche for women that like that. Pretty boys will get less respect from masculine men but will get more attention from women and in turn still get respect from normies. Which ever you lean more towards fit that archetype/niche.

Yeah true. It's a bit annoying though since i feel like i wouldn't be happy with myself as pretty boy. Since I'm a man it's innate that I'm going to feel uncomfortable with feminine features such as a small frame, beardless face and tiktok /eboy persona. It just feels so out of place. I think i would still choose to be hyper masculine, not to the point where I die from using drugs to get big but to the point where I don't look feminine. Even if that means I get less women I would be okay with just some and I'll feel happy with myself to.

In the 80s, brad pitt was what you would call a pretty boy, but right around the early 90s, when he was approaching 30, he went for that chad look, which I think he kept on going with till he was in his late 30s like when he played in troy or ocean 12. My opinion is that Chad by far has the most longevity with aging. Pretty boys start to look a bit strange once they get close to 40 and beyond if testosterone never kicks in by that time. Hypermasculine start to age very aggressively by that time and look 60 once they are 40. Chad will look his age, and retain his not over-whelming or under-whelming masculinity.

Pretty boys are just young chads. If they dont go bald and keep a good weight, they turn into chads as they age. Hyper masculine men are just red pilled balding copers who dont have the face so they have to make up for it in the body. Doesnt work for someone short but if youre 6'3 -6'9 it will do wonders. I think it all comes down to what age group you are in. People 22 or so and younger would absolutely have the pretty boy archetype as coming out on top. Start getting older than that, and I think more masculine men are desired. The way I see it, I think the perfect balance would be having that kinda pretty boy, anime main character type of appearance, but blend that with having a focused masculine leadership mentality. I think it’s honestly a breath of fresh air when you realize that your looks don’t determine the core of who you are or your values and character traits.

Quoves Studios did an amazing analysis on this. One of the biggest reasons why feminine men aka “pretty boys” have become popular among women is due to the fact of how hormonal birth control tend influence women’s preferences of men. Studies have shown that women on hormonal contraceptives are more likely to be attracted to feminine guys while women who stop taking it or have not taken hormonal contraceptives tend to be more attracted to masculine men. It all points to biological instincts, women are naturally more attracted to masculinity in men but if hormones are altered, their preferences in men CAN change.

Now that I'm in my 30's, I have shaved my head (damn hair genetics), but I still get quality tail. The trick is I have embraced a more masculine look with my shaved head, now I can pull women that way. It's all about adjusting and playing to your strengths.

Testosterone is what helps a lot of men with self confidence and anxiety, but doing so does mean you may become less attractive in the eyes of women at least until you find your balance again. Perhaps depends partly on stage of ovulatory cycle, and age of women. Teenage girls/ young women will lean towards pretty boy/Chad, whereas older women will lean towards hyper-masculine/ Chad. Regardless of age, Chad is always in season.
Also, life history strategy. Fast life history strategists (i.e. impulsive, promiscuous etc) will prefer hyper-masculine men, whereas slow life history strategists (stable, monogamous, interested in bonding and nurture over sex) will prefer slightly softer more feminine facial features.

Honestly the part about nuances is why I love this channel. There's a lot of grey zone advice that really helps people stand out uniquely in their own niche instead of chasing the same thing. I'm a pretty boy archetype myself and found it really hard to get women interested in me because I was aiming to be more masculine and chad-like as I grew up. The moment I decided to just accept myself and my strengths, focusing femininity by being a femboy I immediately found success with mainly bisexual women, who are an untapped market with their own desires for how they want men to look. Me being open to makeup and crossdressing allowed me to make great pictures of myself that seemed to up my attractiveness level from a 5 to a 7. (Coming from the people I ask)
Ironically, this is the only part of the bluepill that makes sense and is actually good advice when combined with this context in mind. Of course, if you tell an ugly man to just be yourself, he won't get anywhere. He needs to know what to strive for and how the market works first. This channel is incredible for showing how everyone is a little right in their own ways and where the true wisdom is found.

Seen alot of these results coming from e-boys. Especially in regards to middle and high school chicks. My three questions to you, would you say that in alot of chicks' early lives, they tend to be more bisexual then straight? Did you have any that claimed to be straight and wanted chads but were doing the exact opposite in regards to who they were dating? Finally, would you say that older women grew out of this or were they just hiding the fact that they lost too much value to continue?
I find it a bit interesting how women who identify as straight want pretty boys since you'd think they'd want bulked, tall, and masculine chads. I think its ultimately just brain development, but I could be wrong. Also, there was a study that showed how "normal" women were turned on by everything equally that led to more confusion. Even monkeys doing it!

@@communistblocc1916 Women tend to be more bisexual than guys on average so I wouldn't be surprised if younger women engaged in more bisexual behaviors. This might help explain why younger women prefer the pretty boys, besides the fact that they also look youthful.
Honestly, I haven't met any that actively looked for pretty boys while claiming to be looking for chads because women like to pretend that looks aren't a factor where I'm from. (California) The word "chad" is a male word and invention to describe the same type of guys women tend to obsess over.
I'm not a woman at all myself so I can't really answer the last one, though it seems that women have developed their taste by a certain age and finally know what they want. It's also possible that they associate pretty boys with youthfulness and want guys around their age now. (Unless they're into younger boys... X_X)

This adds to the point made around 10:10, but also highlights that more masculine men are more desirable for their potential genetic contribution to offspring, but not necessarily for their caretaking ability.

    Regarding subtleties:
    1) Regarding the ratio of desired types to available types, whether it is a good strategy or not depends on how easily it is to identify women who are attracted to pretty boys or hyper-masculine men.
    2) Agreed on being age-appropriate. Mireille Guiliano (the author of "French Women Don't Get Fat") advocates the same for women. She says French women often look more elegant by dressing in accordance with their age, rather than dressing in a way that denies it.
    3) Regarding this one, there are some further subtleties to this. Experiments have shown that women's preferences vary according to which part of their menstrual cycle they are in. "Masculine" faces tend to be rated more highly during the fertile window, whereas "less masculine" faces are rated more highly outside the fertile window. This is a good reason for women to seek counsel from men in her life (e.g. her father) regarding suitors: he will probably have a more consistent and rational view of the suitor than her.

Man this video is straight facts. I remember in my late teens trying to go for the fuckboy/eboy look when I was 17-19 and it worked but now I'm in my early 20s and the eboy look doesn't work anymore since I'm now bigger and look more masculine than I did mostly due to my physique. I stopped wearing skinny jeans when I was like 20 cuz I knew it didn't look good on me anymore. I wear more fitted clothing now and I've even been able to attract older women due to my more masculine appearance and presence. I've been told I'm intimidating until you get to know me and realize I'm like a giant teddy bear lol.

As for my experience, a pretty boy is just a step away from simping because of the bad habits of old good days, for example, a very passive stance towards dating cute women - teenager type. Well, I can relate to this. Getting older naturally turns you into higher mascuity levels, if you are able to build lean body mass and attach to good habits, such as training BJJ. Suddenly, you start to roll with hipeymasculine guys and give them a hard time. But conving women of your values is always hard. Anyways, amazing content. A nice blend of economics and psychology.

In Europe, including all of Russia, Alain Delon, French movie superstar (now 86) of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s is regarded by all the women as the greatest looking man who ever lived. I kind of guessed what made him that but this graph puts things into perspective. I believe Alain Delon indeed hit that sweet spot of attractiveness + masculinity. All makes sense. Women who are old enough to remember him in his hay days believe that there will never be a man as good looking as him ever. Women were in awe of him. In fact you will hear today in Russia women of all ages say about some guy, ‘he’s cute but he’s no Alain Dellon.’ This graph tells us why. Thanks Wheat Waffles.

This makes sense because I've always known that women see me as short term fun and rarely consider me for a relationship. They usually accuse me of being unfaithful and too controlling or being a player or womanizer when I try to take things slowly. I am actually a relationship guy and want monogamy and marriage with a good God fearing woman, but those women don't usually like guys like me. They just assume that I'm faking it and just playing them. They even tell me that eventually. So at 40 years old I have never been married and have no kids that I know about so far. Yet I have a high body count relative to most men. My first red pill was when I was younger and noticed how much nicer women treated me compared to most other men who were not as attractive or masculine. And that was when I realized that women (not all but most) generally don't treat men with respect. They reserve their respect for men who they want to fuck. And the men who they marry or date are not always men who they want to fuck. I want marriage and my last gf who wanted my babies was only interested in sex and my seed. She even said that all I was good for was sex when I kept telling her I'm not ready to have a baby. She even said that I'm just going to cheat on her or leave her for a prettier woman after I get her pregnant just like her mom told her. I was like well thanks for letting me prove that wrong (sarcasm). I had to end it because she started looking for a man to have kids with. I wasn't going to be her sucker or a deadbeat dad on child support, so she tried to replace me. After I caught her trying and left her, she ended up with a sub 5 beta male who does everything she says. Not that there is anything wrong with that but her reasoning? She blames me and says that she never wants to date a man like me again because I was "abusive" and made her feel inadequate. She said I used her for money and her help when really it was just her way of keeping me around (love bombing). I would have stayed without the "help" but she was too insecure to understand and trust that. I decided that I am just not meant to be a husband or father because every time I try it goes bad.. I will always be a fuck boy in the eyes of women so I accept that is all I will ever get to be for them. And it's not all that it's cracked up to be. For as many women as I have had, I still feel alone. I am a true lone wolf and nobody cares for me outside of what they can get from me.. let me tell you that shit sucks because nobody thinks I have feelings or a hard time in life. Everyone assumes that I have everything I ever wanted and nobody believes that I need love too. so I am telling all you so called "incels" and sub 5 men, that being a Chad (masculine alpha) or even a Brad (masculine beta) is not all that great. Everything has it's trade offs. Men who get women are lonely too. Because we know more than anyone that women don't truly love any of us. They just use us all for one thing or another. While the beta provisioner gets the marriage or the bf title, the alpha Chad gets used for sex, entertainment, and social status. This is why brotherhood is so important for all of us. We all need each other. Whether you're a 1 or a 10.. Bros before three o foes..

Just make yourself happy and let these girls tag along but when they're ready to get off the ride let them go and don't look back. They will expect you to chase them but once you do that you lose and they lose respect. Just keep it moving. Let them know you don't play games. If she wants you she will be there etc... If she starts demanding more affection or attention then just tell her that this is all you got for anyone and if it's not good enough then she can go get a better man if she can. They usually wise up and check their tude but if not then she is just playing a role to get you into a position of weakness under her. At which point she will make your life hell.. so we can't win. Better to be alone and see several women at a time casually and let them all know about each other too. They love the competition and drama whether they admit it or not..

I feel like the attractive aspect of masculinity is the attitude not the looks. Because I'm yet to meet a woman who's into limp wristed or extremely insecure/submissive men regardless of their appearance. But with this said, I personally believe that a Chad looking guy with masculine traits is undisputed peak male attractiveness.

A week after finding this channel I'm still in shock of having lived my godam life in blue pill/red pill world like an idiot. I was fortunate enough to have had many awesome girlfriends but ever since I separated with my kid's mom 5 years ago it has been a complete shitshow of an experience in the dating world here in Quebec Canada. So I wonder, are there regional effects at play too, or like cultural effects that come on top of it all? I was never a Chad, I was never a Subfive either, but now I think I'm 60% Subfive/40% Normie, and I've had maybe 100 dates in 5 years and I've been massacred. I have 0 confidence left, I don't even want to leave my house anymore. Women told me I had a great personality but too bad I wasn't attractive enough, they'd rather roll the dice on the next guy and hopefully he'll be everything I am and everything I'm not. Fuck...

Are you taking care of yourself health wise. Women do that a lot, they wouldn't yell you. They want you to think they just naturally look that good. But they do things in secret to make themselves look better to get the better guy so the other girl doesn't get him. Same with men. You can look okay, but if you don't present yourself well, and look the part. Then yeah women will tell you. For me it's opposite. I'm handsome. Really handsome. Women would tell me and some would say it hurts to look at me. I had girls leave me because the other guy, not as good looking as me, she fell in love with him before meeting me and wasn't fully ready to move on yet. Dude was drug addicted and everything. She was fine too. But she fell for him. His personality.... so really there's just no winning, no one attribute that's the key to the best relationships with women. If there were, people wouldn't make CZcams videos like this, it would have been discovered like a looooong time ago. So beauty standards change, so do our perceptions of ourselves. For instance, Chinese foot binding. Women would go through some serious pain, to make their feet smaller because women with big feet were seen as unattractive and ugly. This was back in the day. Things have since changed. But that was the beauty standard. A portrayal of refinement. If you exude something of refinement, at least to a certain degree, and not just an average joe halo player who isn't refined, then women won't look past you. They'll give you a better chance.
Sure some will see you and might date you, but depending on their friends and family, if you're not refined enough, they might play a decisive factor in the relationship because she wants her life to be at least equal or better than her peers. That's one the the deepest darkest desires towards our peers, is to do better than them. You might not be able to get that quality beautiful girl most dudes want. And a guy who is refined, will bed her instead of you.
So what does it mean to be refined? Being in control of your emotions but also using them in appropriately and not bursting out unpredictably. Have friends who like and respect you. Have a network in the community that effects others lives positively. But not for her or on a chance go get laid, just to refine your character. You might see it as dumb, but you won't when you try it and how it effects you too. So much you can do. Women have ALWAYS like refinement. Those girls that's don't, don't realize that they do. A lot of them can't decipher well their emotions into matching thoughts to identify why they're sad or unsatisfied. So they'll be a little erratic. Once they figure it out though, they day things like "you have a nice personality, but you're not attractive enough."

Most young guys are 'pretty boys' or effeminate looking anyway because they haven't fully developed yet, likewise when you're older it's impossible to run pretty boy game as it comes across as strange and it's less feasible to pull that look off, a lot of this just happens with time and by default.

10:03 thats absolutly true. I have experienced this myself and my buddy. Im more like the prettyboy type. I look much more young have still full hair and a soft face. My buddy is more the like the hyper masculine type. When we wandering around city most of the girls in the age till 25 i think were given me more looks than my buddy. But i also experienced that woman from 26 onwards i have difficulty the older they get. I asked one woman 29y if we can get on date and she answered "sorry your not my type". Ok but why? "well i cant get comfortable with boys i need a man". She was a single mother. So my buddy is getting more ONS but they dont want to go in a relationship. I attract a range from 14 to 24years. So i can only date realisticly from 18-24 or in rare occasions single mothers. The last mother i dated was 27years but i dont know if she is mentally stable. The oldest woman a dated was 40years and she seems to like prettyboys. Its not all black and white but thing of tendencys.
