"When I'm happy other people don't seem to notice the things we're insecure about." PREACH ❤️🙌🏼
I used to feel insecure about my monolids but watching jens videos have made me realise that you can look beautiful without the crease- thank you Jen, you're the best
I love that brand of eyelashes. Thank you so much for trying on the different pairs of lashes on, when I am at the store they all just looks so tempting for me to buy them all. By you trying them on enables me to get an idea of how each type would fit for the its own occasions. You are one of the few videos that was able to let me play entirely without me fast forwarding, which means you have created something I found to be all useful that deserves the running length. Will subscribe.
Jen that nail polish looks so good, and it suits you really well. Thanks for putting the name in the description box info
A lot of it is trial and error, but I usually try to find the shortest pairs I can find since my natural lashes are short! I also find the really long ones with clear bands droop down on my lids (this goes for anyone with hooded lids) so I tend to look for lashes with a black band since it helps give the lash some strength to stay up.
jen, you're like one of my favorite makeup artists!! i'm was literally so excited when i found out you did makeup tutorials for monolids because i've been searhin EVERYWHERE on youtube. Keep posting videos :D
Your videos are so informative and have really helped me with applying my makeup! Thank you!! Please keep making these kinds of instructional videos 💝💝💝
her channel makes me embrace my monolids and not change them. thanks jen!
Thanks for this video! Can you do a video on how to clean off eyelash glue and take care of them?
Love this video! I have always been a little nervous about wearing eyelashes and street watching this video, I'm going to give it a try. Thanks!

your eyebrows are so naturally perfect!! pretty!!
I love this kind of videos - helpful tips & tricks! =) Thank you! You always look amazing without that extra drama some gurus have about their looks and attitude. Love your work, Jen!
Jen! I love your videos! Thank you for teaching us your helpful tips. I tried putting on fake lashes eons ago with no success. I used the drug store brands and they did not work. I will definitely look into the Asian brands. Thanks so much! I love your energy and spirit!
1. To remove, I apply a bit of water at the base of the lashes, then pull up gently starting at one corner. Then, carefully pull off the glue from the lash band & store.
2. As long as they aren't losing shape or falling apart, you can reuse them. You can spray Parian Spirit on them to disinfect before storing as well.
3. Yes you can, but I only recommend mascara over fake lashes if you are only using them once and tossing.
You're so sweet! And i love your choise to show the lashes in-box and on the eyes! Love from italy!
This is so helpful, thank you, Jen!
I remember when I first went to look for monoeyelid makeup tutorials I got so frustrated and wished I had double eyelids. Then I came along and saw your amazing videos that let me know that I can still do beautiful makeup with monoeyelids. You made me realize that I don't have ugly eyes but beautifully shaped eyes! Without you I swear I would've never started making my own Makeup Tutorials because I aspire to be like you and make girls more confident with their natural beauty! Thanks for being you
Exactly what I needed! I'm really enjoying your channel!
I bought a pair of false lashes today! I can't wait to try them out! ^^ Love your videos!
why did you buy them?
Awww Jen ive wanted to know how to apply falsies so badly and now here it is! Thanks a lot xxx
False lashes are the Spanx of makeup. You don't always need them but they never hurt and once you're used to them you can't imagine being without them. I love those wispies and the last ones I would not have guessed until you showed. Nice video thanks..
I've just recently started when lashes and video taught me so much. Thanks Jen
I love how detailed all her tutorials are!!
Thnx for such an informative video!
What kind of lipstick are u wearing? The colours lovely :)
Hey Jen, I love all of your makeup tutorials. Can you do the hyuna ice cream makeup?
How do you touch up the lashes if they start to lift??
Thank you for all of your helpful tips!!!
Hello, love your video! Can you do a video on the best finishing powder for oily skin!
Thanks for the video~!
I'm wondering how do you usually take off your false eyelashes??
Thanks
Thank you! I've never worn lashes but I always want to try especially seeing them on you. So beautiful! I'm going to have to just try one day... thanks for the tips. :)
I know you say curling won't work, but it's probably the mascara you are using. Only certain waterproof mascaras hold my curl so try Covergirl Lash Exact Waterproof mascara and curl right at the base of lashes, then middle, then ends. It should help hold up & blend your lashes in!
prop to when you are happy no one notice about the insecure. Found ur vid and love how ur are very helpful and detail with tips. Thx
You're so adorable
Thanks for sharing your knowledge on lash application, nice job.
Thank you for posting this! I was looking for a video that explained this well!
thank you so much for this video! I love you! You're my absolute favorite makeup guru
very helpful:) i was thinking about trying false lashes but i refrained from purchasing them because i didn't know what to buy or how easy it would be. thank you:)
Thanks for this vid; I love to see the different types and different looks. I am Asian/Chinese and wear short criss-cross ones I got when I lived in Japan. They also look more natural but I am curious about trying the other styles. It took a lot of practice & I can put them on in 1 min. I do agree; I mainly wear them for photography; they add more definition to my eyes and make them look bigger. I have double-lids and short natural lashes. Most people can't even tell that I'm wearing falsies!
You can think that way but she made a big difference on my outlook on having mono eyelids. I really wanted to get plastic surgery because society had given the idea that without double eyelids I'd be considered ugly. She taught me self confidence even if it was indirectly I'. happy that she did that. I'm just trying to be appreciative and letting her know that her videos make a huge impact on some people. So I don't apologize about just having mono eyelids because it's more than that to me!
I'd love a basics video on how to find the perfect foundation for your skin tone!!
Great tips! Thank you! Keep it adorable and relatable! Love it!
Hi Jen! I wold love to see a video on how to shape a nice looking eyebrow.
I was wonder if you could do an all time favorite eyelashes. New ones, old ones, and recent ones you like 😊
Yes, I forgot!!! Sooo important! Always trim from the outside so the shorter lashes on the inside blend in.
Very helpful :) I had questions but you've already answered them.
There's another tip I learnt elsewhere. Sometimes the lashes don't look natural because the lash is too long at the inner corner of your eyes. You can move it such that it starts at the inner edge of your pupil. Most lashes are ok though.. Just don't apply it too close to the inner corner of your eye.
I wished this came out yesterday. I tried wearing false lashes for my friend's wedding, but I just gave up on it haha. But next week it's my aunt and uncle's 30th anniversary so I'll try them again. Very helpful tip. Thanks.
I tend to avoid applying mascara over false lashes if I ever want to reuse them because it gets messy to remove. If you really, really want to salvage a pair you've already put mascara on, try rubbing a bit of oil-based make up remover on the lash fibers (avoid the band) and then wash with soap + water and pat to dry right away.
Out of all the lashes u look most prettiest with the holika holika 04:) btw u should make a lip product haul PLEASE
I really love watching your videos
For my first time, I didn't use criss cross, I used a normal lash which is very long idk how to describe, it turned out great
hiii jen !
could you show us what we should look for when we try out bbcreams for the first time ?
thankssss
i love how she said giraffe or camel i thought she was going to say something more fierce like panther or leopard. lol love you jen! so endearing
For long-wear, I really like Darkness lash glue!
I'd love to see a updated monolid eye make up look for the fall/winter :)
Thanks~ the first lashes r definitely the best
can you do more monolid tutorials and tips and tricks for monolids please and thank you! love your videos
i have long, but straight lashes, do i have to curl them before putting the falsies on?
and which ones look better indivudial lashes? or full set?
jen your tan looks really nice :)
Where could you get pretty natural looking makeup and how do you put it on
Apply a thin layer of glue on the end circumference of the thinnest brush handle you have. Then roll it under the lash band that has lifted, making sure you get glue on the corner that lifted. Press the lash back into place and hold for 10 seconds and you should be good as new! It's a good idea to bring liner with you too to fix any parts that were removed in the process. ;)
Video on how to choose eyelashes for different eye type!!! Thanks
Could you do a how to on taking off false lashes and cleaning them? thank you! love your videos~
when I put on fake lashes, i feel them and I can see shadows of them if you know what i mean. is that normal or i am just putting them on wrong? thanks
ooooo...gotta get one of those containers for the eyelashes! never knew there was something out there like that! thank you :D
Yay thank you so much! This video helped me put false eyelashes on for the first time :) brilliant. xo
Can you do a basis contouring video? Similar to this format with recommendation on contour products?
Love it, Jen! Great tips and tricks.
How do you clean your eyelashes? I realized that after I take them off, the glue is already hardened and I'm not quite sure how to get it off. Thank you!
how do you keep the lash from poking the inner corner of your eye? is there a difference with synthetic cheap lashes or real hair?
Great tutorial Jen! I always have trouble centering them, any tips for that? One always ends up more to the left or right. Do you line up the center or the outer edge? Thanks! :)
Hi Jen first of all i love ur videos they have been extremely helpful I do have one question I notice that sometimes people put mascara on fake lashes to blend the natural ones and fake ones. How do u clean the fake lashes- I used a pair and did that and when I took the lashes off they looked bad and really unusable. What's ur tip for taking them off and cleaning them when you've applied a little mascara on them?
I'm not a doctor to say exactly what could be damaging, but I imagine that wearing very heavy lashes and ripping them off without being gentle multiple times could stretch eyelid skin and cause droopiness. In my experience using eyelid tape regularly caused more stretching than lashes. Just be very gentle and don't force the lashes off and you should be fine. :)
Hi, Jen
When you wear false lashes, and you take them off, does your eye get sticky around your lid or lash line from the glue and how do you take them off?
I have pretty the same monolid as you but my inner corner of my eyes hurts cause the end of the eyelash always stick into my skin..does it hurt if you but it on? so i cant wear lashes there and just halflashes =(
If your lashes do start lifting while you're out, how do you reattach them? do you tear them off and reglue them or do you just add some extra glue to the end that is lifting?
Question: his can you remove the lashes without leaving glue or residue? Every time when I wear false lashes I have trouble removing the glue no matter what I do.
I don't have top lashes.. So what would be the best pair/brand of lashes to use?
I have 1 mono eyelid and 1 double eyelid. Could you pls do a basic video on how to apply eyelid tape or use the eyelid glue?
Try MAC fluidline!
I wore lashes for the first time ... when I put them on is the glue supposed to burn cuz when I put my lashes on they had like a burning sentation to them is that natural????
how do you clean your lashes after putting mascara on them? i always end up throwing them out after wearing 2-3 times bc i dont know how to properly clean them. thx jen!
I looooooove her hair so much omg
Try Revlon's lash adhesive! It's latex-free. :)
do you always put on eyeshadow and eyeliner one first before you put the lashes on??? i only say that you said u put the liner on thick first then applied lashes...
You might try trimming the lashes a little shorter and applying them more toward your outer corners, so it starts closer to 1/3 of your eyelid. Just make sure to trim on the outer half of the lash so the shorter length (inner corners) still look natural. :)
I have a question! My natural eyelashes are long, if wanna put fake eyelashes do I have to curl my natural lashes first?
my parents sell those lashes at their store... use them all the time. I Love those lashes.
I never tried Duo glue but I've been using Shu uemura one and it works really well
How do you take them off, and is there a certain time limit you have to wait before taking them off?
I wore some really long lashes for a cat woman costume at a halloween party and everyone loved them....so fun!
What's the longest wearing dark tone lash glue? I'm going to a concert and am worried about them lifting because my lids are oily.
I love your eye makeup in this video. What colors are you wearing?
super helpful! thank you
I thought I was the only one! I wish there was a makeup guru like that so I know how to do a more indepth makeup look!
Love your vids!
Applying false lashes was very uncomfortable for me when I tried with fingers. I just couldn't get it where I wanted it to be. For those who try fingers and it just doesn't turn out well, I recommend using tweezers. Prep the lashes the same in terms of sizing and glue, but for application, look downward into a mirror and use the tweezers (I hold lashes lightly in the middle) to apply and adjust the lash band. Easy, quick, no mess :)
I love your nail color!
love your videos, looking for "your favourite mask" video.!
question: what's your favorite lash glue for long-wearing application? like, the longest wearing lash glue?
How Many times can you wear a pair before you throw them away? And do you place the lash band on the center, inner or outer corners of your eyes?
