So I've watched all your videos (several times over) and yesterday I bought my 8.5 x 20 trailer. Wish me luck!
Update?
You got this.
All the best
Awesome!!! Congrats 🎉🍾🎈
Oh nice! I see you have some support in the comments. Very cool! Any questions let me know in the comments! Best of luck, excited for you
We bought a "coffee" trailer last month. 18 foot car hauler with electric in it. After watching your videos, we think we can probably do this ourselves! Everythings a learning experience!
You got this! Let me know how it goes. Hopefully you're up and running and if not let me know any questions in the comments!
Didn’t realize how recent these videos are/were! Thanks for making these!
I purchased a trailer back in April. You’ve motivated me to complete it myself, minus the plumbing and propane assembly.
Lol. You got this. Once you do it once it's a piece of cake lol
Looks great!!! Awesome work 👏🏼
Hi... I'm from Philippines, thank you for your very informative videos 🙏🙂, hope u continue doing more nice videos
2.0!!! I cant wait bro this is so helpful you dont even know!!

The L-bracket should be a latch for easy disconnect. Looks great!
Never seen them with a latch. I'll have to look
Very good info sir. Thanks for your work.
Appreciate it
Very cool video brother.

Love and Respect from punjab india
Wow,I’m so happy to find you on CZcams. I’m thinking to build food truck for my own. Love all your videos. Thanks so much for sharing 🙏🙏🙏
Good morning. Appreciate the feedback 😁 thanks again
I watch you I will buil my self to in January 2022 I come back from Thailand
Great job really helped and inspired my with my own cupcake truck I launch may 9th. Nikki's Cupcake Creations
very good
Nice build brother👍🏼💯
Thank you 😊appreciate the feedback
Congratulations on your finished trailer! I became a subscriber when you were mid way.
In 2018, 2019 we built ours in California. Your videos have inspired me to do a second one with a lot of new ideas you showed us. I would like to document my progress but it will probably be in my spanish channel.
Again congratz! Cant wait to see your next project.
Very cool!!!!
Gracias
I only speak a little Spanish but I'll definitely follow your California build.
@@MaceFXE thanks! First we need to save up more money, here materials are more expensive 🙄
@@aidacruzvlogs ugh yes! I'm building one now and materials are so ridiculously high priced.
I’ve been looking for new trailers and most places want 85k to 110k , I came across your videos and I’m going to do it myself, I have a few family members that are handy , my nephew is a welder , I’m sure with a little help I can get it done .
Absolutely. Welding not needed at least in my experience just to make you a step outside. But 2 heads are better than 1
@@fbaltierrez hi Frank I watched this video very awesome work..
Yeah definitely do a more in depth electrical episode. Great job with the trailer!
👍👍👍👍
Looks good. Need to run a accumulator on that pump though. The quick cycling will burn out the pump in no time. Thanks for posting.
What’s does that mean?
Accumulator is a pressure storage reservoir that utilitizes external mechanical energy from either the engine, raised weight or spring to move it around
That is what I need, my daughter will love for her business. Questions?
How much do you think was all that?
Hey Frank ! Awesome job and thanks for this series! I’m still building my truck and I k ow I should ask my local health board but I curious you have an idea if I’d need a hood and exhaust if everything is electric and only thing “ cooking” is a couple of waffle irons and a steam table for ingredients??
legend
These videos are awsome! Where do u get your restaurant equipment ? Just got an old 1957 exited to turn it into a food trailer!!
4:23
Is that a Tankless Water Heater?
If so... What is the Name of it...
(This is the first time watching your video. So Impressed.)
I will start watching the other ones very soon.
GREAT Job... Fantastic!!
I have a Vintage Tiny Travel Trailer (50 Years old) So Cute...
I want to convert into a TINY Food Trailer... Especially a Beef Jerky... It is very little so I have to do everything compact.
I am so glad you used a Tankless Water Heater...
Thank you Frank for sharing all of this great work... BEAUTIFUL,
You are the man, what a beautiful and well built truck. Question, where did you get the aluminum for the interior?
Stainless steel from a local metal shop to me Roco Steel
Peace.. Shalom.. Salam.. La Paz.. Namaste ..
🙏🏻 😊 🌈 ✌ ☮️ ❤️ 🕊
Really enjoying your videos. Quite impressive! I have a question Frank. What is the best way to know the regulations for every County? Is there a way to have a Food truck that can pass all kinds of regulations?
Unfortunately there is no one website that lists them all. BUT there are a lot of companies that all they do is build food trucks, so I would imagine they have a lot of knowledge on many states and counties regulations. Might be worth googling some of those companies and giving them a call. Otherwise your best bet is to manually search counties and states retail food codes that you think are very strict and building your food truck to those specs.
This is amazing! I want a cupcake trailer. I would prep in a kitchen and just distribute in the trailer. I'm thinking I would only need bakers carts, counter space, storage, cooling. Is it worth getting a trailer for this?
ayeee wisconsin here
Next door neighbor
Super interesante
Great video series. I was wondering why you used tables instead of cabinets?
Muchas gracias
De nada 💪
Really have enjoyed this build with you! I have learned a lot, thanks Frank!
I do have a question. What is the rating of the LP regulator?
This is the one I used

Well done! I seriously want to do this exactly like you did. Final cost I know you have talked about, but what would you charge a client if you made it to sell? Thanks for all of the hard work to share your wisdom and knowledge!
Tough question to answer because I have never made these to make for customers so wouldn't have a correct answer for you.
If I want to use a water filter, can I put it before the water pump and after the little filter that comes with the pump?
I look forward to being on the road, and your videos have helped bunches for details on how some of the install systems. Thank you. When you see the food Oasis, I hope you check us out. You're in Michigan right?
Appreciate the feedback 😁 thank you. Not in Michigan but close in Illinois
We hope to get to Sturgis, if not this year then next. We hope to make it a 3 month tour away from home. 2024 eclipse in Texas.
Hello I am wondering should I buy an out door or indoor breaker box and can I use the yellow romex wire or not?
I've seen most of these videos and since starting my own trailer build, I've realized that Chicago is WAAAAYYYY easy on the regulations compared to Washington State. I gotta have a GFCI on any outlet within 6 feet of a sink counter or servicing a food prep counter. You got an unprotected outlet directly beneath your sink! I had to invest over $600 for a water heater that's rated to pass inspection AND it must installed with a pressure relief valve. I ended up doing my panel on the exterior because it can't be obstructed by anything under it or on the sides. Good job though, but it would never pass here.
Yes crazy how every county changes, some are even more lenient than us here, to make it a GFCI its pretty simple I could add a GFCI breaker to the panel or just swap out the outlet. The panel one that kinda stink putting it outside but they make them so thats good
@@fbaltierrez Putting it outside using water tight connects and conduit actually made it faster to install everything. They made me use 12/2 mc cable for all the interior circuits. It's also a requirement here to vent your plumbing with a 1 1/2 pipe through the roof.
I'm in Washington and I've been doing research on the L&I requirements and brooo, it discouraged me so quick! LMAO If you or you know anyone willing to help me put together a trailer, I would appreciate it. You're from WA, so how much do you think it would cost to put together a trailer if the food I'm making requires a 3 bay deep fryer, griddle, and fridge?
HELLO FRANK YOU REALLY DO GREAT WORK ! was wondering what size is that window do you have the style numer so i can order that item and also did you weld in a header for support or do you use wood after you cut out opening ? also where can i buy the metal for the walls interior .
Good afternoon. On my last video I answer the metal question, window 78x31 style 23x. Just used wood
Frank, can you do the wall insulation for the food truck, with those panels? If so, can we hire you?
Hood mart, where one finds all the OG’s.
Very good job man. Do you have a generator for electricity ? If so, is it loud or noisy ?
I do. It's super quiet. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XC47ZX4/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B06XC47ZX4&linkCode=as2&tag=rollingburrit-20&linkId=03c614f61b891ead21bf15cda583d160
Hi Frank I am thinking about making my little 79 Chinook RV into a food truck. I don't know where to begin...
Before i start building. How much was everything out the door you building it? Just material
I wonder if there is something we can spray onto the gas elbow on the exterior of the trailer to prevent the weather damage
I believe so. I didn't do it but did think about doing that
Hey Frank, thanks for the great videos. Im in the midst of building a food truck in Chicago. Would like to know why you chose J&R Aluminum Products for your concession window?
I got mine after the series, Drove up to Amish country and it was awesome. Window is super high quality.
@@danielmeeksr9833 J&R Aluminum as well? Ive been looking around. Seems like they have the best bang for the buck?
Yes Ruby was great I was on an even tighter budget. Picked out a 36”x60. Only around 650 plus got it color matched for only 35$. Then to top it off I drove up saved hundreds in shipping so I bought the folding shelf. Awesome place.
What video is it that you show the custom metal step for the food trailer?
Hi Frank
I see u are r in dupage so am I I own sportys in bloomingdale. Your videos are great. Is there a chance we can talk about health dept and fire and any tips u can give me.
Rocco
Nice local person 😁😁 send me an email rollingburritosfoodtruck@gmail.com
Do you have to have the inspection done after each install, electrical, plumbing, propane.. or is it all inspected together at the end? Thanks!
That depends on your health department. Mine was at the end ,they didn't really ask how it was built and who built it.
@@fbaltierrez thank you!
Great video! How much did you sell this one for? Just curious for price comparisons

Where did you get your stainless steel for your walls .... I just ordered our 2nd hood from hood mart and they sell stainless for cheap . 6ft and all pieces for less then 300 . its like 145 for a 4x8 sheet .
I got mine from a local metal shop.
My first time buying it, it was $40 a sheet then it went to $65 then last time it was $100 for 4x10 sheet
Good job thanks. were you get the flanges for the table
For the bottom of the feet on the tables are these

Hi bro I like all your video,I just wanna ask about window on the food trailer?it must be two window are aloud ?I have 36x53 and I have only one window on my trailer
I have seen trailers with 2 windows if the space allows then would definitely work
I see a leak on those 3 comp faucet. You should use galvanized fittings for your outside propane lines.
cuanto tiempo te tomo acer esa trailer?
good but you need to add a exhaust for that water heater
No for this one. Its vent free. 👍👍
Hi bro great work, do you sell one of this
12:15
That is the Propane Leak Detector?
Where does one buy that from?
Answer:
Amazon... just heard that from the video. LOL
How can I install a tv on a trailer to where it’s in the wall with plexiglass on the outside
could you show me how you finished the rear ramp door please? Beforehand thank you very much.
I just put stainless steel on it, just like the walls same install
Have a question regarding the water heater. I know it’s a propane WH. But how do you exhaust the CO?
This particular one is Ventless that's how they have it no vent needed
@@fbaltierrez Awesome. Thank you. Btw your Videos are a ton of help! I appreciate them! Thank you for what you do!
@@jellywreck1989 appreciate that
WHERE DID YOU GET HE STAINLESS STEEL FOR THE WALLS
Frank you are amazing!! Thank you so much!! My husband and I are almost done but I have some questions, can I email you?
Hi mate, could send me a link from where you getting your floor fixing for secure benches please
Good morning, Just updated the description with a link to that Flanged feet
What are the blue flanges for the wheels? It's not in the description. You have put 2 different flanges, but both are the same link.
very cool video. how much did this whole assembly cost you?
Not counting Labor cost which easily is in the 5 figures, I did it myself so I don't add that cost in. But You are sitting in the high 20s low 30s.
@@fbaltierrez thank you very much for the reply!
Do you need stainless on the walls
Where you do find the serving tray in the front under the window?
J&R Aluminum. Great company
Hi can you please tell me the information for the water 💧 pump?
Your work is beautiful, how does it cost.
Depends on how much you get your materials for. Like wall covering and such. But no labor included without cooking equipment. About 10-15k
How much does a setup like this cost?
How much would it cost me to get it set up like this if I already have the 7x16 trailer
Will have a new video up today covering this exact question
How much was invested???.
Great video..
Kedo chingona
Not counting trailer about 18-20k could easily go over
Hi where do you buy y’all your equipment please thinking to build one
Send me an email I have a spreadsheet that I have available rollingburritosfoodtruck@gmail.com
Hello, can you tell me what is the name of the material of the floor.
Hey Frank can you give me a stimate in the eléctric work and pluming, ? On labor and parts? I really appreciate !!!
On plumbing I have no idea I have never hired a plumber and don't know what they would charge for something like this. But let's say I did the electric for you hypothetically. I would charge like 1,500 something like that roughly
@@fbaltierrez thanks!! Appreciate it!! Is good to know!! Can't wait for you doing a truck instead of trailer!
I have one question what do you use to glued the floor ?
Just used floor adhesive comes in a jug. Let me see if I can find you a link
Thank you buddy you doing real good "f "job

What is that hooked to the cold water line going to the water pump is that a water gauge and if it is,what type is it and the name
It's a pipe strainer comes with the pump
Ok thanks and you are doing a fantastic job 👏 building those food trailers and where can find those 20 gauge stainless steel sheets,I stay in Illinois too I'm close to st.Louis
And my wife and I are learning a lot from you we really appreciate you showing us how to build our own food trailer, thanks again.
Great job! Some of your links are ring up different items from what you actually bought. The compartment sink and light switches are just a few examples! We are working on following your Instructions! Great work BTW if you could fix the links that would be amazing of course
Oh I'll have to take a look at that!
It would have been helpful if you had numbered the videos from say part 1 thru part 9. I am having trouble putting them in order so I know what to do first then second and so forth. Otherwise good videos.
