Super League Triathlon is back, bigger and better than ever in 2022. The Championship Series kicks off in style as the UK’s capital city, London, plays host to the best triathletes in the world. Thousands of fans are expected to line the streets around West India Quay to get a glimpse of their heroes with a host of British gold medal winners such as Georgia Taylor-Brown and Jonny Brownlee set for action. A tight, technical course with cobblestones is a very tough opener for the athletes who will be suffering with nerves as the Championship Series gets underway.

What a joke. Officials can’t determine the correct man to disqualify. This is people’s income. Macca just brushed it off like it was nothing.
Very fun to watch! Love the different formats. Watched live in Malibu last year. So fun but almost all of the age group athletes left and did not understand who the real triathletes are and what was Super League. Need to educate America on this type of racing and triathlon as a a spectator sport in general.

I'm surprised they disqualified someone without clear video evidence. The smartest thing would've been to let him transition and continue while the tapes are reviewed, after concrete evidence THEN you pull the athlete from the race.
Shame I couldn't attend this year, great last year.

As for the racing, I love super league, but I'd like to see a few more big names this season. Also, I'm not digging the teams concept, though I suppose it's designed to get people who are looking at triathlon for the first time at least semi-interested...
who’s missing? Lol, only people who aren’t there are the long course guys, who obviously wouldn’t care to race short course/wouldn’t be successful anyway..

multiple sports are being heavily financed by the far east. Look at premier league and Golf, triathlon is no different. Money talks I'm afraid while i see your point and agree with it, I dont blame alot of athletes cashing in while they can. it seems sports cant find big money outside of the far east and so when the offers come in they take it , regardless of weather they agree with their laws and human rights etc.The media calls it sports washing.

Triathlon is, per se, an American invention so it is a little hard to get around the "American crap".
Great format, super exciting racing and very spectator friendly. The designation of teams (Rhinos/scorpions/Sharks/etc.) is meaningless to me. How about geographical designation: North & South America/Europe/Far East (Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Taiwan, Phillipines, etc). There are a few other fine athletes who are left out ( i.e.Isreal) and they can be wild cards. No confusion here, just check the globe to route for your team..
Did you look at the women's finishers? England had 3rd thru 6th. There was 1 north American woman and I think just the 2 Australians for "Far East". That would be wildly unbablanced
