London Race Highlights | Championship Series 2023 | Super League Triathlon

- The fifth edition of the Super League Championship Series aptly took place in London, a city that’s hosted more SLT Championship and Arena Games Triathlon Powered by Zwift events than any other metropolis in the world.
The classic Enduro format was utilised, basically a non-stop burst of nine back-to-back triathlon disciplines without any breaks (or a 300m swim/4km bike/1.6km run repeated continuously three times in a row).
The 90-second rule was also in place where any athlete that falls 90 seconds or more off the leader’s pace at the end of any individual lap being shown the Elimination Flag and stopped from continuing the race.
The key pre-race talk was on UK triathlon stars Jonny Brownlee, 33, and Alex Yee, 25, doing battle in east London in front of a huge home crowd, and so it proved during the race.

Alex Yee was such a showman, the crowd was electric and it was great to watch! It was great to see the Brits performing on home soil so well
Thanks for the recap, very entertaining, spectator friendly racing. Kudos to the Alex Yee of Team UK in first and to Taylor Spivey for carrying Team USA in second! It would to great to see the entire race (live streamed or delay) next time!

can't believe nobody has mentioned Jeanne Lehair yet, what an amazing achievement for her considering the short chutes that 2nd and 3rd took. Also massive kudos to Taylor Spivey who never gets enough - she's so consistent - another great performance from her today.

The best organisation there is in Tri currently just needs some tweaks to make it even better imo. No idea why the bike leg is so short the ratio seems off.
Nevertheless, has the edge over PTO, ITU and Challenge events. Ofc IM lool

The problem with the replay is you know what team has won already as you only interview that coach... maybe an interview at the end would help

Hayden vs Alex is my single favourite thing about this sport right now. I hope he recovers well (and quickly)!
