About #UChicagoAdmissions: The University of Chicago is home to a liberal arts college within one of the world’s most preeminent research universities. Students in the College are empowered to engage with challenging ideas and encouraged to express themselves freely in the small, discussion-based courses of our interdisciplinary Core curriculum. UChicago’s location in the historic residential neighborhood of Hyde Park provides students with the best of two worlds: a comfortable home in a neighborhood with a college-town feel, and easy access to a world-class city. UChicago is committed to ensuring that any student, regardless of background, can find a home here: applications are reviewed holistically, meaning that they are evaluated within the context of a student’s experience, and families making less than $125,000 per year will not need to pay tuition. I am so happy to see a university taking such active efforts to make students feel at home. This is reassuring for prospective international students who are wary to leave their communities and families.
How do RH or RA deal with NOISY STUDENTS?
I've seen comments about it on reddit, and it doesn't seem the policies are strong enough for granting A GOOD SLEEP in the dorms, whether a nigh sleep or nap.
Also silence is important when you're studying.
What other thing could be a priority than good sleep? all the day in general, but specially during the night.
so....how *are* the houses sorted? what's the point of the housing application if the sorting is just a lottery?
when you get to UChicago, they will call your name and put a hat on you, that hat sorts out people and assigns it them to an specific house
God I am praying to get into this school, they care so much about their students (´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥`)
Great drawing!! I’m applying next year and these dorms look amazing :) Hoping I get in!
Thank you for the great info.
Great residents assistants!
This is definitely EJ on the voiceover

Hi, who is a cowman?
Do you stay within the same house all 4 years or do you get assigned a different house each year?
