    Hobie sells caps that you can hook to. Like the ones all over the yak for the bungees.
    They tap right into the slot.

    I'm going to try this with the beach tires. Thanks. I've gotten where I hate loading and unloading everything to use the cart. Sometimes, I use a cheap cart that I bought at Academy.

    how does it work when putting cart in the water

    • @edlinnguyen
      @edlinnguyen  Před 7 lety

      i dont see why not. as long as you can feed the bungees in the scupper, might be tricky underwater though.

    Great idea , but actually more curious , where did you get that Hobie mirage drive kayaks "decal ?" on your rudder ? I hear they "very" particular about protecting the brand name , so to me at least , having decals you could put on a $200 Wal-Mart Kayak seems kinda odd . Also contemplateing getting the new Passport model , & having extra decals for my truck , etc , is a must ! lol

    Carts that attach through the scupper holes will void many manufacturer's warranty because it CAN cause damage. I've seen videos of kayaks take on water away from shore (scary), and they traced the breach back to the cart. You may get away with it in your Hobie, since I believe Hobie makes one, and reinforces that area, but it is the weakest point on most boats. Don't take my work for it, do your own research.

    That's not going to work when you want to load it back up when you're in the water good luck trying to find those holes underneath your boat well in water
