Great road, one of the 18 tourist roads of national importance in Norway, drove it too, preffered it instead of Laerdal Tunnel, even if it takes much longer. Incredible how fast you climb from sea level to the high mountains and back to sea level on this road, having stunning views around. Greetings from a fellow roadtripper and creator from Germany!
Indeed driving over the mountains is great. I turned around in flam tho and took the tunnel back Wich is its own experience since it's longest car tunnel in the world
Yeah, stopped for second thinking hmm we don't fit in there with my car. had to park a bit back near the blue van because the rest of the spots was full.
