As someone who has done some of these scale of builds with genuine Lego, yes it will alleviate the clutching issues -Lego moulding quality control is top notch. No, it won't quite alleviate the color variation unless all your bricks are the same vintage - Lego isn't as light-fast as you might hope. Older white bricks will yellow, blue and red will fade, yellow will grey slightly, and brown... well every adult Lego fan has horror stories about dismantling a build they had sitting around for over a year that involved brown plates. ABS+UV+whatever formula Lego used for reddish brown pre 2018 results in the plastic shattering when you separate the elements.

I'm glad you found a design that works and that the end result looks so good.
The most common problem with sets like this one is that they were never actually built and tested out in real life before the set was manufactured, they just found a design on Rebrickable, got the parts list, bagged it and sold it. And a large number of MOCs were made completely in one of the Lego designer tools and never in real life. They look good as a 3D render but they have some glaring issues that are very obvious once you start putting it together, like the fact the entire weight of the model hangs on one stud, that you need three hands to handle the model, four while you're building it because it falls apart otherwise, and so on. Using legit Lego bricks might help a tiny bit, but won't solve the design problems. Good designs have redundant connections that reduce the effect of weak or uneven clutch. Even original Lego bricks wear out over time, and there's a limit to how much a stud can hold.
A good sign is if the Rebrickable page has photos of the build, not just 3D renders.

Lego have unfortunately been notorious for having color issues in regards to bricks being off colour. Just in case someone wants to buy with official pieces they dont get any surprises.

Wait... so have you gone completely clickbait?
I watched the video .. and wtf is "SCAM?" and "It Sucked"?
I wanted some honest feedback, but after this video's thumbnail I think you've taken yourself out of the running...

Hey, if you have watched my videos before you know I try to do give honest feedback of the kit, I review the clutch and the brick quality, I also talk about my spine being wrecked for over a minute too hence why it sucked. For an insight into YT the is a new feature that allows it to test thumbnails, i tested 3 a less dramatic version a different colour and this one, this one got 40% more engagement and at the end of the day after over 3 months work to make the video I do want people to watch it.

@@RisingApe Thanks for an honest response. Still feels awful clickbaity, even with that explanation (which I expect no one else will see).
I don't recall an outro in the video addressing either:
      * "SCAM? No, just some pieces were missing and other didn't fit. Good value, but imperfect even with this (possibly 2nd) Chinese vendor."
      or
      * "It Sucked - meaning my ruining my back, my fault - sucked. But I loved the model and assembly was long but simple with the given directions."

@@RisingApe and yet you write scam and Lego...which both have no place here...and an explanation is also missing...so it remains just cheap clickbait

Please stop calling it LEGO when it's not.
