- LUX Maldives is an amazing 5-star resort but there are some short comings. In this video, we go over the Pros & Cons of staying at LUX Maldives. Spoiler Alert. The Cons listed in this video would probably not deter you from staying here, but more so things you should be aware of before coming.

@@dolcesweety honestly we had really great time. We never been in Maldives but we got so depressed when we needed to leave 😭😭😭 everything was perfect. Not many people, relax and quiet. Everything was beautiful and spot on. As a chef and foodie myself I didn't enjoy the food 100% but it was ok... Have a good holiday! The only thing I am regretting is the fact we booked only 6 nights.

It depends how much you consume. Lunch /dinner is $20-$30 per plate
You can’t just go to the spa ! You still have to book a time slot - we did it 2x last year , but yes it is free

I found no disappointment there. We stayed in a family beach villa. 2 plus 4 kids. The royal treatment was fine.

Hi! We will stay in Dhigurah. Is it possible to visit the Lux contracost resort?
Contracoast meaning?
Contracost=Surcharge. I talk to the resort and they don't receive visitors for a day. I saw that you spent a month in the Maldives and I'm interested in going for a day to visit a resort. You were saying something like $100 per person.
Oh, thank you for clarification. Lux does not allow visitors for a day pass. There are a few resorts near by Dhigurah that have day pass packages. You can email different hotels on Dhigurah and ask them if they have any options for day tours to private island resorts
It’s a great resort but has no house reef… even though the resort offers snorkeling boat trip
