  • There are many ways to get citizenship of a country the most common are Naturalization, Descent or even Marriage. However nowadays, acquiring citizenship by investment is getting a lot easier and many people chose this path to obtain a second passport. As it can provide investors with unique perks, such as global mobility, ease of conducting business, securing tax incentives, or just a way to get full access of living or retiring in that country. The countries mentioned in this video offer the easiest ways to obtain a second citizenship either by direct investment or via Residency by Investment in 2023. Some people here in the comments section miss one critical point in the video: visa-free travel. Before you suggest another country with CBI, kindly check how many countries you can travel with its passport without applying for a visa (AKA passport ranking). And personally, I think that's one major reason why many people want a second citizenship...because their own country's passport ranking is very low!

    • @Murmilone
      @Murmilone Před rokem +5

      What you call visa-free travel is usually short stay (90/180) permit for tourist or private purposes. In fact, in many cases it's not even that but an electronic visa or electronic authorization. The EU will start implementing ETIAS in late 2023. Only Schengen area citizens will enjoy visa-free access to the Schengen area. Others will have to file a visa application, pay a fee and wait for the decision.
      If any EU country grants you a 5 year multiple entry type C visa, you definitely don't need an additional passport just because it has some +30 points higher ranking based on "visa-free" access to the Schengen area. Such a visa will also grant you some access to EU non-Schengen members and EU candidates.

    • @matthewnirenberg
      @matthewnirenberg Před 10 měsíci +1

      After investment, most people move to that country to lower their taxes and be able to conduct business with less red tape (bureaucracy) and live a more relaxed life. You're really clueless if you think people should "invest at your home country" - I say this because you fail to understand that people doing CBI (Citizenship By Investment) have paid small fortunes in taxes in their "home country" and:
      * Never got a single damn thing in return (not even a thanks - its always "pay more")
      * Had to be full-fee paying for their education
      * Had to have private health insurance (to avoid huge tax penalties which get imposed if you earn over a certain amount and don't have private health insurance) which means you have zero access to public health care as everyone who holds private health insurance is forced to remain in the private system
      * Has been blamed on the daily for every problem in the country (the BS that is "tax the rich, they're evil")
      * Be demonised for daring to have a nice two storey house (3 bedroom, 2 bathroom) because many houses in the area were demolished and turned into units
      * Be demonised for having a nice car by the broke-ass welfare bludgers
      * Be constantly extorted (sorry, I mean taxed more) to cover the ever increasing welfare bill
      * Never been helped as they've been told to "work it out on your own" and told to "go to hell", because no one gives a shit about anything other than hating the successful, the rich and ensuring they collect their welfare payment
      Such people don't owe their "home countries" anything! If people weren't taxed so much, treated like garbage and had access to the supposed benefits, they'd likely happily contribute and care, but that ain't ever going to happen when they're being taxed, treated like garbage and get nothing at all.
      I've just described Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the UK.

    • @matthewnirenberg
      @matthewnirenberg Před 10 měsíci +1

      @@kendivedmakarig215 Nope - the point of having a second passport is to enable yourself to significantly reduce or eliminate your personal income tax & taxes on investment, to facilitate business with less bureaucracy and to give you more places to live and work. Visa-free travel has nothing to do with it as such travel only lets you enter as a tourist - this means no work, no right to stay indefinitely. This is why people go for Caribbean CBI passports and EU Schengen passports as these give you freedom of movement.
      Visa-free travel is already gone by 1 Jan 2024 as everywhere will require an equivalent of an ETIAS, ESTA, ETA, etc. These things are visas in all but name (the same information is required) and will result in more rejections that before. Also note that the EU's ETIAS will restrict the country you enter the EU via and the country you exit the EU via - you won't have the freedom to change that on the go. Also, its not hard to get visas for tourism, whats hard to get are work visas and residence permits as they can lead to citizenship.

    • @matthewnirenberg
      @matthewnirenberg Před 10 měsíci +1

      Just because you get their passport doesn't mean you have to live in that country. Get the right CBI passport in the Caribbean and you can live and work (with full rights) in 6 other Caribbean countries. In some cases having that other passport can enable you to get work visas in countries your current passport can't visit. Note that some countries have agreements where their citizens can visit another specific country as visa-free and conduct business meetings/deals as long as they leave within 20days of arriving.
      One other reason is as follows - say you work in Asia (any country, it doesn't matter) but you need to travel to New Zealand - most flights transit Australia and most people will require a "transit visa". This is a very hard visa to get. The simple solution is to but a Vanuatu passport as Australia lets Vanuatu citizens transit Australia without a visa and thus regular travel that requires transiting Australia suddenly becomes easy.

      It's actually quite difficult to get an American citizenship. It takes many years, a citizenship class, money. It's visas that are easier to get. The problem is that many visas and residencies don't permit work for the first few years. That leads to the "lazy immigrant on social services" stereotype. It's not quite fair - the ones that obey their visa or residency terms that sometimes forbid work open them up to ridicule.

      @@Lacteagalaxia If a foreigner invest, it wouldn't be a problem. In fact it would be beneficial to the country and its people. More Jobs and more wealth to the country. Remember that no country will survive without Foreign Investors. Also these Foreign Investors are not poor Immigrants. They bring wealth and jobs for the locals. This is how China became the 2nd richest country and it's because of Foreign Investors.

    In conclusion: Money can buy you anything, without money - a shitty life in our evolved "equal" world. Solution: Be a criminal today! If you manage to become great totalitarian leader in Ruzzkyie land committing every crime in the book, and more. -You´ll be the richest guy in the world and everyone wants to obey, adore and negotiate with you. Isnt life and mankind lovely?
