    In this video, we will learn how to use the CONCATENATEX function to create smart visuals in Power BI. You will also learn how to use this function to debug calculations, create advanced concatenated calculations, and enhance your reports. I’ll also guide you through a practical example, demonstrating how to use CONCATENATEX function in DAX to get the names of the top-selling products in a matrix visual.

    You could also use that selected value measure to make a dynamic title for the visuals, add that little bit of something extra to the report.

    Hi Mr. Chandeep, you are an excellent teacher. I learnt lots of Power Query tricks and DAX from your CZcams videos and still learning new tricks from every video you've made. I would like to join with your Power Query and DAX courses, however I would like to do a small request.
    Is there any possibility to join with your course as a monthly subscription. If you would create in such a way it will be really helpful for person who is difficult to spend lots of money at once.

    Excellent way to explain the CONCATENATEX function and all its features and possibilities. I'm wondering if instead of creating a disconnected table, it would be easier to create a numeric range using a new parameter option. Additionally, another option to prevent the user from selecting more than one option in the "Top Value Selected" slicer is to set the slicer to "Single Select".

      I am thinking about to decline this usage to build « topN and others »
      Just by replacing « total N » calculation by « total - total N »
      Looks like very elegant 🤩

    👍Thanks, Chandeep!
    No love 💔for the 'New Parameter' UI button for the dynamic slicer?
    The effect would be identical, but you would also get the *non-range* 'slider' slicer which is (for some reason) exclusive to a parameter.

    Hi Sir Thank you so much for the video. One doubt,
    In the quarter total line also showing the top products name. is that the best selling product of the entire year (because it is the total of all quarter)?

    Great follow up to your other intro's to the function, one gripe for me, I found UNICHAR does not work in P Pivot, UNICODE does, so you can find out that "A" = 65 , why one and not the other? ( Rhetorical)

    • @GoodlyChandeep
      @GoodlyChandeep  Před 15 dny +1

      The enter thing works in an excel PowerPivot too but you'll have to use use alt enter within quotes instead of UNICHAR(10)
