This game has had a whole bunch of unused content added and removed over the years including graphics, stages and more! Nice to see one of my favourite games stacked like this! Hope you enjoy!

But, can they pop camo regrow red?
The shielded bloon graphic is also used in the mobile game Bloons Pop in which they let the bloon absorb any damage before getting hurt. Quoted from the game's dialog "Oh, Bananas! Bloons can now have Shields! Looks like shields take one hit to remove, but can soak up any amount of damage in that hit!"

The shield Bloons are always relegated to the side games for some reason which is weird.
I just opened that app to double check what they did and then came back into CZcams and someone already mentioned that they were in bloons pop

On the targeting cut content, I think that the “friendly” targeting would be used for the alchemists top path, where it buffs other monkeys by throwing ( attacking) other monkeys with their potions.
That would explain the "expensive friendly target" one.

The soul bind ability for the Prince of Darkness is only currently unused, as it was the original use of the PoD, however it sucked so they reworked him

@@Epsi_Cron it was removed because it was so bad and no “buff” to it would make it good. Nk just reworked it.
Almost all of the things in this video used to be in the game but removed, yeah
@@TetraBitGaming the soulbind is a more notable tower because it was a playable tower in the game for a whole update. Surprised you didn’t mention that.

Shielded bloons are actually in Bloons TD x Adventure Time, they're extremely similar to fortified bloons where it basically just makes it take a few extra hits to pop

10:45 first bronze badge is actually used in the game as a part of dark dungeons easter egg, when you click on candles in the middle of the map you can activate dungeon statue, the badge is displaying it's level

Haha, knew nearly all of these but still fun to watch. The shielded property for bloons is actually used in a bunch of other bloons games, it basically takes a few hits before you can actually damage the bloon inside.
Soulbind actually was in btd6. It was what the wizard bottom path used to be, it got changed to Prince of Darkness in the version 2.0 update.
So for text strings like in 3:41, the Elite Defender DID have this ability at one point in the game, but it was buffed to as it is currently because people complained it was underpowered.
Honestly, I really hope they add the early Churchill design as an actual skin for him. Something about his old design just looks so right, and would maybe actually fit as a little skin.
3:55 soul bind was in the the game but was removed because it was to complicated to use. You would bind a Tower and depending on the sell value of the tower is how many lives you could leak before the tower was sold it was just a very complex ability so Ninja Kiwi removed it
Also it was completely useless and was not good to use ever, thankfully it was reworked into the mid/late game beast known as prince of darkness.
@@DemiCape hasnt been a beast in quite a while now, prince of darkness was nerfed and is now the worst of wizards tier 5s unironically (doesnt mean its bad but likeeeee)

I think the friendly targeting options would be for the top path alchemist, because of how it temporarily buffs the towers in its range.

Necromancer target is possibly what the targeting ability for the reanimated bloons.
Friendly target is most likely what top path alchemist uses.
Grappleable is possibly what the 0-4-0 Monkey Buccaneer uses.
Custom Path seemingly was added with the Goliath Doomship’s air strike ability.
Glad I just found out Bloons exists so I can watch this!
It's great to see a snapshot of what may or may not be added into the game. I've been playing Bloons for years, and I've been hoping for you to do this episode, although it still surprised me.

I spent many hours playing btd 4 as a kid especially in computer lab back in school. I still play it sometimes at work now when it’s dead it’s still my favorite but I really like td6 also just a great series! I remember playing btd4 on the dsi also it was amazing to me I could play on the go even if it wasn’t the best version. Great video man

I wonder if the 2D moab type models are still in the game as the models became 3D in the 8.0 update
Also, a lot of the prerelease tower models look like a mix of BTD5 and BTD6 which makes sense since I'm assuming NK was still figuring out the art direction
Also the fortified armor graphics on the BAD got changed to look exactly the same as it does in Bloons Adventure Time TD

10:44 actually level one is used! If you go on the map, dark dungeon, if you put in a secret, you can unlock the monkey statue, if you do so, you'll be able to see that upgrade icon.
I honestly love this game and now I’ve finally got my lost bits video on it.

The unused fortified bloons are (mostly) (probably) used in battles 2 (albeit slightly modified to fit the slightly different art style)
Battles 2 also only uses the lead, ceramic, moab+ fortified textures, the others don't appear, the only one that was used in 6 (excluding golden bloon) was fort. purples, which were in freeplay

It’s pretty cool that the banana central has the blue pipes, which we now know are a carry over from when the top path would add blue pipes for every upgrade. Neat!

The effect on hit box size from wcademy seems really cool if it is the same size as the village. Like you will have to manage if it is worth it for how big the academy is
I’ve never felt older than hearing this game came out 5 years ago, I remember when 4 came out and how I thought they couldn’t get better than that.

A theory I have on what the friendly target does is that in an older Bloons game there was a challenge where a wizard would have your strongest towers sacrificed to it and this may be related to that (please tell me if anything I said was wrong it is 11:00 pm)

6:35 It is said that ice was also magical before and that the wizards library upgrade also allowed this power to use tier two on all paths.
A youtuber say if you hack the game and try to use a tier two crosspath on a third path on a monkey the game crash but if you do on a ice you can and also he says that this upgrade of the academy make you only go up to tier 3 on a monkey so like the old crosspath mode(it only allows 7 upgrades on a monkey like you want you can upgrade 421 or 502 or 322) you on magic monkeys can

offset track could potentially be for the spike factory being able to put spikes on the parts outside of the track which could've been for strats with super mines and stuff, (still weird but is possible if there isn't any track neat the spike factory)
all of the shared range ones are just extra targeting options for an advanced intel monkey sub
expensive friendly target was likely for the old 0-0-5 wizard monkey since with that you used to be able to sacrifice monkey's for hearts once you lost lives and the health you got back would be equal to how expensive the tower you sacraficed was
Random position could have likely been for the mortar monkey, especially with something like pop and awe being basically just that
staggered would have been a targeting option for bloons that were effected by things like distraction, superstorm or other things that were pushed back by other towers
grappleable likely would have been for the 0-4-0 and 0-5-0 monkey buccaneer since those are able to pull in large bloons moabs.
and the last 3 would have been for the dartling gunner as likely different ways to aim the gunner

5:34 Target opposite is probably boat's two sided attack, grapplable is boat ability, target in front might be the flagship's planes. Friendly target is alch buff. Target pointer could be the same as follow mouse or set point for dartling/mortar/heli. Staggered could be for multi-targeting towers like robo monkey or bez.
Friendly target was probably for alc top path
Grappleable was probably for MOAB takedown
Strong, last, and close Shared range is likely the other targeting options for monkey sub adv. Intel
Random position might be for mortar monkey level 5 ability or sentries.
Target Tag might be for things like soap and mortars.
Target Pointer might be for unlocked dartling gunners
17:05 : those are the shields in bloons pop, how they work is you hit it once, that removes the shield from the balloon so that then you can pop it normally

About Soulbind, it was in the game at one point, but got replaced. It actually ended up buffing the tower depending on how many lives lost recently. It was so bad that it got scrapped
For the shield texture that appears at the end of the video, there is something similar in a ninja kiwi game called “Bloons super monkey 2” where certain Bloons have shields around them, only appearing in later levels.
Im getting so hyped for this content.

I think the friendly target thing was for the Alchemist with Acidic Mixture Dip and Berserker Brew to prioritize using those over attacking

It isn't in the "Looking Ahead" section on the recent patch notes but those only go up to I think v40.0 and we got the Beast Handler last update so that might just mean that some revamp of the Monkey Academy will make it in! Worth noting that according to a blog post the plans for the Monkey Academy are now very different, but regardless I'm very interested!

Well, I certainly suspect that Bouncing Bullet caused Ninja Kiwi to initially make Sniper projectiles visible considering the placeholder, but this point in particular, given the visual, might mean seeing over obstacles

I love this channel I like seeing all of the lost bits u do. I have a suggestion for a game can u do a video on the game Little Misfortune it’s a funny yet sad game and pretty short but it’s still a well enjoyed in my opinion I would love to see unused things in that game if there is any.
Some of the Fortified Bloons textures appear in custom challenges where you can make all Bloons camo and/or regrow.
I don’t know TOO much about the targeting types, but if I had to guess… maybe Random Position is used for the Spike Factory’s track spikes?

offset track may be for lategame when bloons move too fast to be seen and projectiles have to be thrown to the end of the track
the shared range ones may be because the advanced intel didn’t automatically target using every range available
random position targets a random bloon
staggered may have hit each bloon once
grapplable may have been for the middle path boat to target only the ones it can get, otherwise it would glitch and waste the ability
target pointer may have tried to hit the bloon closest to the cursor
target in front may have been targeting the one closest to where it’s looking at, with target opposite being the opposite of that
Just Sayin' a 2 hour SM64 lost bits would be sick (There's just so much to cover)
