These dudes are just special and II is god-tier. Even if you don't react to them here, I'll echo the other comments urging you to check out his playthroughs. Those videos truly inspire me as a drummer - to either practice way more or never pick up the sticks again. I haven't decided yet.
Always use great drummers as an inspiration and not discouragement!
I was very close to the person recording this 😂. You may have noticed that most of the crowd enjoy singing along. The promoters filmed this from the balcony and the sound they picked up from everyone and seeing the stage lighting in full was phenomenal! They’re doing a tour of the US from October time and I definitely recommend going!
They definitely have a maturity of songwriting well beyond their years and that’s why I love them! I can’t wait to see them perform live again

I'm just seeing your reaction here. Being a drummer, you should watch some of their slightly more recent live performances of this song. II during the ambient part started doing some insane drum solos and many of the more recently uploaded live recordings display it pretty well.
There's a playthough of this now on drumeo with the live drum solo. This performance didn't have the drum solo yet.
So happy to see you react to ST. Take a deep dive with this band when you can. They are a little of everything I love about music.

You have to check out ii’s drum play through for hypnosis or alkaline. Dude is incredible. Never overplaying, but you can see how tasty he can be when he lets things flair up appropriately.
You definitely need to react to 2’s drum solo on the summoning!!!

You called it mate!! Bands from London jolly old England! I like this a lot very good musicianship and atmospheric with compositional changes That surprise you and make you think. There’s a lot of things going on in this track multiple levels shit
I was thinking that another drum “react video” format that might not be so “drum centric” but more music centric would be breaking down the specific musical relationship/interplay a drummer is having with say the bass or even the singer. Just a thought.

The singer is the real deal & surprisingly doesnt use backing tracks thus the backup singers. Would recommend(requesting) studio version reactions
