Guns Mcgee He’s describing the change in the move. If Ike had grabbed Fox in the jumping slash part of the move, and then finished it, Ike would have died first. However, he only hit him with the flip slash, and the main down slash, so therefore Ike didn’t die first. Previously before the patch, the opponent would have always died first before Ike, (This goes along with other Fire Emblem characters BTW).

They nerfed the knockback, but it will still kill if the enemy was near stage ground level when getting hit. It used to kill them first even way above ground level, but at that height it kills Ike/Chrom first.

It was dumb of him to go for the edge guard. He literally had to land ONE Smash attack and that DK was DONE. I’d be patient and hit him with a limit strike.

I don't think a lot of people realize that Ike can still cheese stocks by using Up-B. In case you don't know, *Chrom's* Up-b was the one nerfed, not Ike's. The reason it's not as reliable is because Ike is far slower than Chrom, that includes his moves. It's only good from like, Pokemon stadium to blast zone type of range, if you get it.
