oh yea i have had no doubt that this whole arc will end with "I am Batman" i also think that if King follows many a bat writer there will be an "I am Joker" arc too lastly never thought of "I am vengeance" and "I am the night" but i sure like those names better then "I am suicide" :)

It's interesting that in Death of The Family, Joker's point is "There's too many people with you man, you gotta lose a few" and after that Snyder makes Duke, which is a "new idea" that is totally irrelevant and won't matter in like 4 or 5 years.

Live To Rock hmm I’ll have to check that out. I liked him when he was first introduced but since there was so little of his character I don’t really have an opinion but I’ll save any more judgment when I read more.
Hopefully someone is able to make Duke cool in a few years. Hopefully someone will give him a definite arc and transformation similar to Nightwing

Tiffany, I didn't think I would enjoy Night of the Monster Men but I really did. The art by Riley Rossomo is stellar and it's a nice short distraction/mini event for the Bat books.
The art is lovely.

I loved the Bruce/Diana relationship from the animated series. They felt like equals to me even though one was super powered and the other wasn't.

This is my favorite Back Issues in a long time. The ripping of Batman stories is always epic! I could listen to the explanation of Bruce ditching the ladies over and over and still find it funny.
This episode was A LOT of fun.

I liked this book, I just wish they didnt have the cliche, kill the new guys thing, these could've been some great longrunning new mainstays to the dc universe. I love their costumes and theme and powers, and story.
I always liked the idea of the bat symbol meaning hope like it was in the tribute to Adam west and the sadness it meant in endgame when batman "died "

Have you guys watched the documentary “Batman & Bill” on Hulu? It covers the life and death of Bill Finger and the quest to get him credit for co-creating Batman. It’s pretty great.

Love the show, I've been a fan since the tv little house days. I do however have to say that i miss seeing Ben and Ethan on the couch together as thier reactions are what hooked me on this show, and its a bit hard to sell the show as a discussion series explaining comics to two guys who dont read them when one of the most featured members lately knows a great deal about comics. Not that Tiffany isn't great, I enjoy watching all of you guys on the live feeds, off the rack and letters page, i just miss Back Issues Classic. Love the channel, and ALL of the cast, keep up the good work guys and gals.
Both Ben and Ethan have full time jobs that make them unavailable a lot more often, which means it's Tiff or nothing. I like to think without her the channel falls apart. We appreciate you digging the guys, but let's not make others feel like they're second-rate.

Do they not use enough of the characters or do they overuse too many? Cause having a lot of characters is not too bad, but using a lot of characters in a poor way makes it bad.

If a plane would be crashing in Gotham then Scott Snyder most likely would have whipped up some armor to overcompensate, but throughout King's run Batman hasn't used any kind of armor, which in itself is great, but I also like how he has explored the futility of Batman too.
I really like Scott Snyder's run on Batman, but I appreciate Tom King's run too. Not unlike King's other works, investment is long term but return is equally great.

To be honest, I have to agree with Sal. I have been very hot and cold on this series. some issues have been great, but most of it has just seemed empty to me. It just feels like these stories trudge on. I am also not a fan of King's dialogue because as Sal said, it it very robotic. I also find the art inconsistent. Finch is okay, but can get very sketchy. Mikel Janin, on the other hand, is great. His art is very clean and dynamic. Overall, I prefer Detective.

Not to be an umm actually flash fanboy dick but in vol 1 of the new 52 flash title he had to stop a crashing plane in central city so he managed to get into the crashing plane and vibrate the entire plane and people through a bridge and land it safely and save everyone.
