Have you considered selling kits for a certain Pokemon since you have so many colors? That way people could buy exactly how much they need of each color.
I for sure have, it would just take a huge amount of time to count them all out. Some Pokémon like charizard take thousands.
@beadamonpixels you can, if you don't already, sell the directions with how many beads/colors are needed for the design like cross stitch. Or maybe find a way to sell the entire kit with the counted beads, plus extras like diamond painting. I think that maybe a great and profitable venture for you.
By the way, just found you today, great content. I do diamond painting and this seems like the male version 🙃
Literally inspired me to get into this. Made gen 1 mew, but changed the pinky orange out for a lighter blue to make it look like the non exsistent shiny form.

Hey, can you show us your wall and all perler projects you have done? Also an idea for a video would be where you get your sprites from (or if you use a specific site for the sprites. Also what you do if the site/software doesnt match the right color from the sprite (and how you change the size of a sprite [or if you do it]).

You found me! I’ve been frustrated with TT so I’ve been focusing more over here.
I definitely feel like Clawitzer is a Pokémon that gets left behind. It’s Gen 6 but there’s a more than a few rom hacks that have made pixel sprites for later Gen mons. I feel based on what I’ve seen he’d make an excellent Perler bead project!

Instead of using blue tape you should try using drywall tape. It already has holes in it.

Yeah me too. I’m going to be switching to longer content. I work a lot outside of this and the shorts are easier to get out
Love the art I used to have these and there is another way u could do it I'm not saying your doing wrong but on one of pages from the booklet I had that came with them showed a 3d cube u could make by melting both sides just enough that they stuck together was wondering if u would be able to do a 3d one??
How do you know where to place the beads? What do you reference from?
What do you put on top of the perler as it cools? I tried plywood, but i think it textures the plastic some.

This might be a dumb question, but have you ever tried modifying one of the trays by glueing the blades of pins inside the holes, then when it comes to poking the holes in the tape, you can just like up the pin plate with the bead plate and push down? That way you wouldn't have to individually pop holes in the tape

But regarding using the peg board to peg holes… it’s not a good idea

I've been watching your content for a good bit now, but I'm a little curious: Have you made any projects using the metallic or the mixed colors beads? I recently tried using the metallic gold beads for a project and I noticed it doesn't melt as smoothly as solid colors.

Qyestion how do you keep your peg boards from warping cause i have one startibg to warp pretty bad (i do make sure to weigh down the perlers- havent tried tape method yet)
I don’t iron on the peg boards. Ironing on the peg boards will bend them.
@@beadamonpixels ah yeh that makes sense- you'd think for something meant to be ironed on they'd be made out of something more heat resistant (thankfully I think I've managed to fix the one board back /doesn't seem to be as badly warped anymore )
While not wide we do have a bunch of masking tape now so might give it a shot.
Do you ever melt both sides?
Can’t really and keep the pixelated look. If you try to melt the unmelted side, new holes appear on the opposite side
