    When physical and mental abuser is your mother, can't say no to abuse unfortunately. I dealt with my narcissistic mother at a very young age, in my teens. I did not even know that I was being abused, my mother used to blame me for everything and worse thing is, I believed her. I wanted to run away from house, but being a young girl, couldn't just get away.

  • @Invest-banker
    @Invest-banker Před 2 lety +9

    There are many narcissists in this world who feed on your weakness and emotions which leads to an abuse.. Ppl who find it impossible to lose them, I tell you, it's better late than never. But the sooner the better.. Good luck everyone

    Very well said. It's true. It is always better to end an abusive relationship as early as possible. Rather than crying over it after suffering for years . It is very important to accept that it is an abusive relation. You have explained very clearly and to the point. Nice.

  • @1611swetharao
    @1611swetharao Před 2 lety +11

    I can't believe my eyes!!
    You put forward all the instances I faced. You literally spoke for me. I just came out of an abusive relationship. I actually thought it would flourish into a beautiful bond, instead turned out to be ugly.
    I lost all confidence in myself and I was literally made to believe that I'm fit for nothing without my ex partner. But the only regret is, I failed to build a bond when I truly gave my heart and soul to him. It's like investing our time/energy/emotion totally on the partner blindly and when you'reout of the relationship, it feels hollow. Can't describe how I feel deep down. Some times helpless and left out. Guess I'm in a self pity mode and right now self pampering .
    I hope and wish to find some one who understands that mutual respect is important in a relationship.. being empathetic and considerate is key..

    I’m so thankful for you! I usually don’t comment on anything, but this 16 min video gave me such a relief! I just felt like my best friend advising me to see the red flags and come out of it! I experienced every single thing you have mentioned and I’m applying your tricks to come out of it . I started involving my frnds and he started blaming me that I made it public! And it taunts me every time that I made a mistake by making it public, but after seeing your video, I realized that , making it public is the best thing that I made for myself! Thank you so much ❤❤❤

    Honestly, it is considered pretty taboo to still talk about any abuse in a relationship cause society and even the individuals themselves feel ashamed of themselves to expose their perpetrator even though it’s not their fault. Kudos to you girl for using your platform to speak up about this unfortunate issue that our strong girls have to still go through.

I faced physical and emotional abuse and literally and tortured me a lot physically, financially so much dowry also we gave n after marriage also so much money for land, we bought him car and in this relationship I gave birth to a boy child but his torture didn't reduce which increased a lot and my parents literally pulled me out and we are fighting in court for this.. it's been 4 years now and I got job recently and became independent and got confidence on my life... my parents are so supportive and few of my friends supported but many critized me n parents telling that my parents didn't choose good husband n I should take it as granted...

    Hi Ashmita! I went through the same phase in my marriage.. With in one year of marriage i faced a lot that in US, no one should ever face.. I am psychologically abused everyday then he started abusing my siblings and my parents.. He used to drink whole day, when i complained to his parents, they use to shout on me in reverse.. I was not knowing what i am going through, i am working and even wen i start working in USA, he used to argue that i am not cooking or keeping house clean, i ran away from him and took shelter in cousins place and then from there reached home in India, currently staying & working at my parents place and i applied for divorce. In this saddest part is I lost my beloved father this year due to sudden cardiac arrest.
    One thing to all the girls over there, if you feel something is wrong, get out of that and stand up for yourself. Discuss with your parents/ siblings they will help you. Trust me they are the only ones who stand by your side during tough times.

    Thanks for this video. Guiding young women out there. Who are facing similar situation.
    I never faced any abuse in romantic relationship. But I had similar abusive relationship with a friend just like you. Who used to say that I walk hunched when I wear nice dress. She killed my confidence. She was jealous of me as I used to earn more than her. Thank god I realized early and cut off my relation with her.
    There was another friemd who gaslighted and accused ne of wrongdoings. Even though I didnt do anything. She was so much in vengeance. She spoiled her wedding day by calling and abusing me.
    Cut off relationship with both of them. Trust me life is so good😊

After some time I realize that he is abusing me in a wrong way but not in direct way. At some point even I also started thinking bad about my body. Then I got to know that he is doing all this stuff but I was not able to get it. From then I started fearing to out by looking at myself. so, I decided to away from him and started loving my self. he started to calling me, irritate me. Went college on my own everyone treated me like mistake is mine..but some friends understood me..still they are with me..but she got married..that too love.. But Living single..no job..no husband..still she feels herself a queen like everyone should talk to her first because she thinks she is a beauty..pity her..I completed my degree on my own..doing job..everyone talks with me respectfully.. So..please concentrate on your studies first..dont depend on anybody..beauty means heart..kind ness..holding hands when we are facing tough situations..that is called a healthy relationship..

    I wish I could see this video 3 years back. Thankfully by god's grace I am out of it. I was in financial and body shaming abusive relationship. I have spent hell lot of money. To understand that it took me 6 months. Suddenly I stopped giving money and later slowly it got ended. Don't spend too much money on anyone. Giving party to your friends once in a year is fine but spending on someone very regularly is not fine. Your parents money or your own earned money anything is not fine. Stop that because everyone has to face their life. You are already chasing your life no need to chase somone else's life as well

    Many people face this with romantic relationships but in my case I faced it with my own mom and my partner helped me face her and create boundaries. It’s so important to realize these red flags but it’s worse when the person whom you should trust and make you feel safe actually makes you feel worthless ..it’s took me years to first realize then came out of the trauma & I couldn’t even discuss this with any friends !

    You are beautiful person inside and out. Not just few, this should be shared with every teenager. Most of of the teenagers are in abusive relationships and they don't realise. You explained it so well. Persons belonging to other age groups also face it but teenagers are more prone to abuses. I wish your words reach younger generation. Adults associated with teaching profession should take initiative to help teens.
