I'm glad this show can discuss addiction and then laugh about it afterwards. It makes addiction seem like it's not so much of a big scary insurmountable thing. Zach is the homie and I'm glad he got the help he needed, because I see a lot of myself in him and he's cool as shit.
Addiction is one of the scariest things to ever go thru and trying to go into recovery. Don’t ever think it seems easy and not a big deal unless u been thru it

Steve O isn't a good interviewer, he turns everything back on him and his escapades and he clearly has zero interest in those he interviews. Looks like his addictions covered up a huge narcissistic ego. Seeing this has really changed my opinion on Steve for the worse, shame really as he always seemed like a decent, grounded and still 'normal' celebrity. Alas, he is instead typically 'Hollyweird' and overflowing with his own BS!

Zach is also new to the camera if Zach didn’t want to do this he wouldn’t have but I feel like Zach is trying to get his story out there he seems very inclusive to give his side when he feels necessary but Stevo is such a good story teller I feel like zach doesn’t have much to have Steve’s mind is more built for the camera and staying on point

I have a feeling that if a guest asked Steve-O not to post something and just edit something out he totally would. He is becoming a little preachy in his sobriety like alot of people do. I'm in recovery myself and I really dislike people that get all preachy like that and it sucks because the NA and AA groups I go to are filled with people like that

Zach is definitely hysterical. As an addict in recovery myself, I'm rooting for him. But the drugs and stunts are the least of his worries. His weight should be the #1 priority. That will shorten a lifespan more than anything. Go get it Zach!!!
Yeah that's my worry, if he's off the drugs he may just fall backon eating to fill need for dopamine. And considering the shape he's in that will kill him just as fast as the drugs ever would.

It's easier to lose weight if you're able to handle it. I don't think you can do so when battling addiction too.
But the drugs along with it are like a straight ticking time bomb, especially if it’s cocaine he’s doing I don’t think this is the best place to have had this conversation this should be between friends tbh

I used to have 3k a week coke problem, after I was broke and couldn’t afford my habit with a job is when I realized I had a problem. I got myself clean on my own which is RARE but the financial aspect of it and everything I wasted on getting high was the sort of the motivator. On Friday’s me and a coworker would cash our checks at lunch, I gave him all my cash except what I needed for necessities. A couple months down the road I was in a better state of mind. He wanted to give me what money I accumulated and made him keep a lump sum of it for helping me get clean. Definitely was cheaper than other alternatives. Have I partied since? Well, unfortunately yea if I’m being honest but instead of the drug doing me, I did it, and when the party was over it was over I had my fun.

as someone who’s sober now, but still struggling staying sober ( my thing was pills ) I wish I had someone like steve-o in my life at that time. I didn’t get help for so long because I was worried about the cost of rehab. If someone had offered to pay I would have taken it in a heartbeat. I finally went to rehab, thanks to my mom pushing me to do it.
my point is.. steve-o helping him doesn’t seem like he’s being holier than thou to me, because that’s all it takes for some to get sober. it’s what helped me and saved my life 100%

Shit after being a alcoholic for 12 years and trying everything in my power to get help with 100% failure a drug dealer finally gave me a bunch of mushrooms and 13 xanax and said take one a day for 13 days then took all the alcohol out of my appartment and I've been 100% sober from everything 7 months now I don't recommend trying my way but it worked for me and I've never felt better

@@donaldwood7449 mighta got lucky I guess, or taking low doses, I did similar for opiates, went a little long though because I had a mid detox bender on day 5 starting the opiate withdrawals all over so I ended up taking 4mg of xan a day for about two weeks, then had a few days of benzo withdrawal to enjoy straight out of smack sickness. Good times.

Former addicts always feel like they gotta help everyone else become sober as well, I understand it comes from a good place, but it also comes off as super hypocritical at times.
That’s apart of the recovery process and the 12 step program. You can’t get a sponsor that isn’t in recovery. You can’t work the steps without the help of a sponsor. Service work-aka helping others- is exactly why people stay sober.
I can understand someone who has no addiction past feeling the way you do. But I can guarantee anyone who is in recovery will tell you that service work is what helps people most.
Plus- lived experience makes a difference. I personally feel like it’s worse for people without the experience of addiction to judge those who have it. Especially without the understanding of what causes addiction.

As a 40 something Addict and A father of a Teen Now Sobriety Is Something that Usually only Comes from the Addict or Jail. Proud Of Zak and Steve for Doing what he did and Saving his life Probably. I still struggle daily And Didnt have a Support system like Zak has So Take Life one day at a Time and Know U Probably will Fall and relapse But No matter what You are a Good Person and Can do this Man.

Man, Zach reminds me of a friend that I lost contact with, years ago. So much alike. Same age, Same voice, and tonal traits. Same mannerisms. Same laugh. It's so weird, I almost think that he is that friend, and the reason that I lost contact with him, is because he had bigger things to do or something. So much the same. Just a really weird thing.

Fellow fat guy here. Ive lost 90 lbs the last 15 months. I hope this is about his weight. Watching him on screen was very hard for me bc hes there solely bc of his shocking obesity. The dude has so much work to do or he will be dead soon at that weight. If hes 5-5 or taller, hes gotta be 500-600 lbs

The sad part is people seeking fame to this extent see being subjugated to situations where people are laughing at them rather than with them as an extension of their fame.
