money can't buy happiness - money is a necessary evil in life - you need it to survive and make your life comfortable - but it can never buy your happiness the long term happiness - happiness for the moment yes! Money also can't buy love that's for sure not unless someone is just plain user - of course money would be enough for those kind of ppl - in absence of true love!
For me, as a mother. It makes me happy seeing my children eat and buy whatever they need and want. Growing up in a poor environment seeing little kids na walang maayos na mga damit, walang shoes, hungryđąmakes me sad. If only I have a lot of money to help all of them. To some people, they say money can't buy happiness, but for me to be able to help and give to all the people that in need makes me super happy. It's true that money is an evil sometimes, but it's up to you how are you going to manage it. Therefore, happiness is all up to youđâ€â€â€

I agree when you say it is up to us to make happiness - we are the one who knows when we are sad or happy - and all those emotions that naturally changed each day each time - that are all natural because we are all human beings. Like you said it makes you happy when you can buy things that makes your children happy or yourself or Jake. That what money do - makes our lives comfortable. We do not need to ask or depend for our basic needs to other people. we can pay our bills do our obligations and responsibilities - which lessen stress in life - that's what I said earlier. With money you can even create schools to educate children for free or assists communities to improve their lives etc. Money can do a lot of things but money can't buy the long term happiness it's impossible - for as already discussed in the tv conversation - you can't be happy all the time. In fact the main topic of the show was how to deal when you feel sad - if anyone would have everything - he or she will still be unhappy or sad at times - coz money cannot buy long term happiness.
