The fact that this is all improvised just shows how well connected the two are and how good of dancers they both are. I loved watching it live, this is no my go to video if someone asks me what West Coast Swing is. 💖💖💖
@@foldingshoebrush Yes ;) We had no time to choreograph it...we thought about trying it but dropped the idea and only decided that Stella would start and I would pick up from there. Then whatever happens, happens. It was the best choice. Also, I wouldn't want to perform a choreography in such a "messy" way 🤣🤣
@@foldingshoebrush Yep, WCS is a dynamic dance. The leader and follower in this video know each other well and know this song well, and they’re listening to minute details in the other person and the music. It’s pretty magical ✨

I'm soooo very impressed! Attila Kobori & Stella Maria Schletterer please "take this on the road"! I would love to see you perform this at major WCS events with much larger crowds. CONGRATULATIONS! Hey Will! Thanks for the kind words :) I have to disappoint you though -or maybe not-, the work we put into choreographing this was none at all as it was fully improvised. It is all lead and follow. However, both of us have a background in classical music so we know the piece quite well ;)

I ❤ WCS! I also ❤ Classical music! The dancers went for comedy (appropriately in my opinion) and their execution was virtually flawless (so much so that it looks choreographed). However, for me, this example of how you can dance WCS to "anything," begs the question: "Yes, you can dance WCS to anything. But should you?" For me, I say it was well done, but it sure doesn't have the "feel" of WCS. All my opinion, and nothing against the dancers, as I said, they were great.

This is an amazing improvisational piece! The technique, skill, musicality, and play between lead and follow is phenomenal and so fun to watch!
