Anyone else find it comedic that X built the tree cause he was farming azalea leaves, but I didn’t see him gather a single leaf block in the clip of him cutting it back down??
He got the leaves he needed last episode and then just started the mega Azalea for fun.

Who would have thought that pigs are the essential ingredient for the fastest travel in any direction in Minecraft? First Doc with is quantum pigs boosting you all the way to the Far Lands, and now this!
Remember when Mumbo thought his elytra battle sphere was big a few seasons ago? Things really ramp up quick on the HC server!
to be fair that was really big lol. i think it was like 1.2 million blocks the hermits mined out in that underground sphere.

This descending-science makes me wonder how deep in the void you could launch a Hermit. How much does it affect if Hermit and the pig has regeneration? Can you spam instant health potions into the void and get deeper like that if the potions trigger when colliding on a falling Hermit-shuttle? Enchanted golden apples will get you deeper but wont help our fellow Voidnaut-Pig. I'd love to see you to experiment with this :D
Potions wont help much, since the thrown potion is just an entity that also takes void damage
i appreciate how you take your time to explain your redstone building process. usually i think hearing your line of reasoning when building a redstone contraption is more interesting than the contraption itself

You need to show those custom trees to keralis when he returns, i am already imagine his overwhelming flattery that his pal is trying his hand at the booshes
Use waterlogged stairs instead of trapdoors. If the stairs are upside down, then even if pickles float to the top they will be at half a block above the floor.
on the boat acceleration topic, add slime block underneath and see how far it bounce back up. then try do hybrid accelerates down and up with it? (there's 2 groups of fisher; one responsible on fishing down the boat and another fishing up the boat once it bounces up by the slime block)
Your bog needs a fallen tree covered in moss. Bdubs has a beautiful one in his forest. (Which I'm in love with) my thinking is its very flat and a little height would be good. Grian flew pass your world tree a couple time before investing the top.

He built a pillar to build limit to see who could get down the fastest; saw the giant tree in the distance and though it was taller, went to take a look, and saw the prize.
Once the trial chambers will be released it will make stocking your copper shop so much easier
Chambers are going to forever make mining or selling copper totally irrelevant. I kind of don’t like that they have sooooo much copper. I think only the final chamber should be solid copper.
@jamesharris5146 Yeah I can see that but obviously it’s going to be a struggle to find an unlooted chamber on an active Minecraft server. But on the contrary I completely disagree with the current system for acquiring oxidised copper. The game of Minecraft is all about building and if it takes so long to get an amazing block nobody will build with it.
@@elvisjr1 If you want it to be easy to get every good looking block you might as well just play creative mode.
@@wingusdingus4958 yeah sure but you don’t want it to take ages to collect the copper block which has so many different variants that I can tell mojang put a lot of effort into. Without the trial chambers 90% of players wouldn’t even realise that all these new copper variations exist.
Copper takes 45 seconds to smelt 9 ingots for 1 block in a blast furnace and 20 minutes to fully oxidise. If Mojang wouldn’t just add a new wood type that takes nearly 21 minutes to craft. Yes you have to find the biome for the wood but you have to do the same for copper in trial chambers.

7:17 Replace the bottom stone blocks with hoppers, then just put regular non-powered rails on top of the hoppers & fill up the area with hopper-minecarts (not moving).
Now you are NOT limited by a single hopper, now you have at least 8x hopper speed available (9x if you go down with a line from the middle too)
I just love the cooperation and enthusiasm the hermits have for... SCIENCE!!!
You should show your pickle farm to Pearl. She uses them a lot as Ren showed you in the last episode, I think
put green candle on the glass in parts of the bog instead of brown candle and it'll represent cattails that haven't matured yet

If I'm not mistaken, you can add your speed when you throw an Ender Pearl, so if you start falling and then throw it down, you might arrive at the bottom faster.
If you also use a trident it can go faster still.
Does that add the speed of a mount too? cause then you can stack the pig boost and pearl which might be the fastest method

19:27 does anyone remember the dropped maps that Minecraft ytubers used to play?i think it would be a great challenge for the hermits to make a game with that dropper element but they race to the bottom with those different methods of falling 😭

The hermits leaning into creating atmospheres and emersion instead of “mega-bases” is a welcomed change.

If X wanted to play with the idea that sea pickles on trees were green growing pinecones, then at the base of the tree he could place brown candles to seem like fully grown pinecones dropped from the tree. I don't know if he would, but i just thought of it after seeing the last video with Pearl's custom trees.
I love that copper bulb frequency divider. I recently had to make a divider for a bone meal farm I was designing and I used 0-ticked sticky pistons with observers which is much more bulky. Though with the slight advantage that you can make a divider-by-3 circuit instead of just by 2 so you can divide by things like 6 or 9.

for the biome between your bases:
-fence posts or glass panes paired with candles on top. Put those inside the water and on land to create your own water plant. Any color could work because it’s alien but u honestly think dark green glass and orange candles would be a perfect combo with the torch flowers
- the gray from the dead coral seems too lonely, create more gray spots
Maybe the River between your bases can transition under the water
His side can be mud under the water and gravel&sand to balance out the gray. Transition that into a natural river on your side
-saplings with string on top work sooo well for small plants
- end rods on top of white glass panes can create a plant that is naturally radioactive or heaven like.
Pair those with more white plant life, or the gray coral
I have more ideas but I doubt you’ll even see my message so I’ll give more if you do😂

I had the thought that you could multiply the amount of bone meal going through that hopper line by passing bone blocks instead and then turning them to bone meal where they're going to be used. It's a little more complicated, but you could have machines that use bone meal faster than your current line can deliver
I enjoy the 'redstone explanation and thought process behind it' part .. it really helps me learn and improve

The clock thing with the copper bulbs closely match how a modern quartz clock works

Thinking about it now, I'm betting a combo of the trident and Grian's ladder x Elytra trick might be even faster. So riptide to kick things off, and then the ladder x elytra thing to keep accelerating down faster than gravity

I learned the cattail trick from a builder named Waxfraud. I use it all the time and it adds so much.

This season, the hermits experiment with transportation
Maybe you could put waterlogged darkwood slabs in the middle of the muddy pond to represent how the mudpond is dry on the outside but moist on the middle 😇

It's fascinating to me how much Redstone adds complications to simple tasks, but makes those simple tasks less monotonous. Sort of a catch 22.
Frogs are some of my favorite new mobs, but getting them to stay in an area is a pain. The landscape is looking good. Don't force it, just evolve it as inspiration strikes.

Another Great CZcams Video Xisumavoid I have been a fan for so long and started watching since season 7 and been inspired by the Hermitcraft season 9 map that you and the other hermits did on the map so I did my own thing with CZcams starting today because of it. :)

I've been listening to SoulSide Eclipse 1 to study so whenever the intro starts playing, I automatically start to focus lol
The thumbnail on this episode is much improved in comparison to your usual thumbnails
Have a hermit with a totem of undying stand at the top of the world while everyone else stands at bedrock and pulls. When they hit the ground, they'll explode in totem particles. Not as anti-climactic that way.
I think it was Grian who first made the bullrushes on the Season 10 server.
The fallen things under the trees could be nuts.
in pearl's theory they're pinecones, but coconuts or nuts also make snese. though i think for nuts some cocoa beans in an invisible item frame would make more sense.
Maybe decreasing the speed of the bone meal dispensers could also help regulate the amount of sea pickles?
If you use riptide and elytra during rainstorm you can go insanely fast, its awesome lol
Quick thought… bring 2 pigs up and breed them a few times to have extra.

This is yet another brilliant video, X. But admittedly, it makes me a little sad imagining the missed opportunity to confuse Gem further. Sea Pickles are already her best selling item (which confuses her so much) and they have already sold out quite a bit. Every time she is like "WHO IS BUYING SO MANY SEA PICKLES?!?!"

10:50 I could be wrong but won't this break the contraption: If the hopper pointing in of the barrel gets to signal strength 9, it will stop crafting but the hopper pointing into the crafter will keep filling it which means the comparator reading the crafter will always output a signal of 9. If you then take items out of the barrel, the comparator at the top will go down but because of the comparator reading the crafter which is locked as strength 9, the redstone dust will stay at strength 9 and thus the observer will not update and the crafter won't start crafting again. Someone do let me know if I'm wrong, I can't test it at the moment.
