I would highly recommend instead of nylon that will eventually warp that you go with g10 phenolic grade. It’s much stronger in Rockwell strength and takes much higher temps

The motor is still stock, I replaced rod bearings but that’s it. The key is to limit the lowend torque, so we will see.
What are your expectations WHP wise? What is the final Power Goal? I'd probably be interested in that old setup if I had any idea of what it is and what it does..LOL.. Keep the content coming brother!
So, with the FrankenTurbo F55 and my port injection setup, I think I will be a little over 600whp. Just have to dial in the tune now.

Hey Grant, new sub here I'm loving the build! I'm seriously considering this turbo for my F87 M2. I previously had a PS2 on it but it didn't last long unfortunately. I'm curious to see how this one holds up 😁

Great video as always, how many miles do you have on your f10? Also are you replacing intake manifold bc you’re oem one is broken?
I have almost 171k miles. No, my stock manifold was fine, I replaced it for fueling purposes. Needed the port injection for better fuel control on the F55 turbo.

Yeah I have, I’m just not sure it’s worth the cost for me at the moment. I would like to have the newer system and integrated CarPlay, but I use my current Android Display for my MHD gauges and I think I would lose that functionality.

Hey Grant... I need your opinion, buddy.. David Shoup recommended I upgrade to a stage 2 hpfp before he hooks me up with a tune, so being I value your opinion, I wanted to know which direction did you go on this? I've seen vids on the installation, which look pretty easy, but I'm not sure which one to pick up, and from where. When you get some time can you give me some advice on this? I would greatly appreciate it. Oh, I got my BC Racing coilovers installed!! Man, I can't believe how much better my car drives now. Night and day difference. Looks sooo much better as well. Should have done that from the get-go.

So I have an early model n55 with the n54 style hpfp, so my upgrade options were very limited. If I were you I would DM Bimmerhausperformance and have Dan hook you up with an upgraded hpfp. He works with Shoup all the time and can steer you in the right direction.
what size tires do you have on the rear?
295/30/20
from the front you have 265 35 20 don’t catch the rut?
Rears are 295/30/20
How far can the N55 be pushed? does still have stock internals?
Yes, I’m on stock internals. I think the limit is the low end torque, but we will see.
Does my car need to be tuned to upgrade this part?
Depends. If you are just installing the intake manifold and plugging the injector ports then you don’t have to be tuned. If you are planning to run the Port Injection you will need to be tuned and will need a port injection controller.
