Katya's morning begins with preparing a nutritious breakfast, which gives her energy for the whole day. You will learn recipes for two traditional dishes that you can easily replicate at home. Breakfast is followed by housework, where Katya takes care of the yard, house and animals, demonstrating the importance of maintaining a connection with the earth and nature.
In the evening, Katya prepares dinner using natural homemade products.

What people don't understand is the ppl in Ukraine do not live any different than my Grandma and Grampa in the 1960s... It's called OLD fashioned! I grew up on a farm in Michigan and did a lot of these chores!! I certainly admire Katya and her knowledge of all farm things! She's a hard worker! God Bless you Katya!! 🤗🇺🇸
When I first moved out to my farm we had a hand-dug well. So we couldn't drink the water. We packed water from town for three years in large jugs, and I used water from the creek. You get used to it, and you don't even notice it after a while. I was able to shower and use the bathroom as we had water from our 10 foot well, but you just didn't drink that water. So doing dishes and cooking was done from water in town. I used a wringer-washer on my porch, and would use water out of the creek for that. My main problem was watering garden and orchard trees and flowers as the hand-dug well had little water, so I packed buckets from the creek for 3 years. I could see why the pioneers built houses and cabins by creeks out West in the US, because my house was built in 1910 and was right by a creek. Then we were able to dig for a well, and we have lots of water now.
I agree ☝️ I grew up fortunate enough not to live back home in Jordan 🇯🇴 and Palestine 🇵🇸 where money is scarce n we could never afford to buy any kind of red meat or others foods our hearts were craving so yes it’s very diff in other countries people shouldn’t be judging or leaving negative comments here or others channels because of the way people live! This is how they live and we are blessed to live here in the USA 🇺🇸 Don’t take life for granted Stay humble people

My mother's family immigrated from Poznan, Poland . This is the closest I have been to understanding the life, my great grandmother and cousins lived before coming to USA.
They fled from Russian invasion for a better, safe life.
My Grandparents had a working farm we spent summers at . Grandpa always had chores for us.
We thought we were working hard! What a joke.
Now I understand why my Grandfather laughed at us.

I was born in Przemkow Poland at the age of 7 we moved to Canada to join our grandparents and cousins ...fond memories life was so different and difficult to adjust to in canada ..went back as an adult memories of the country were still there 😊

Katya is a National treasure. I know what it's like to live isolated in a rural area by myself, and it can be very lonely. Your animals become your family. It takes a lot of dedication to have a milk cow. I used to have dairy goats. You get no days off, even if you're deadly ill, they still need to be milked, and all livestock needs to be fed. But you can't put off milking. I miss my goats, but I had to get rid of them due to cancer. Hoping to get my energy up to get my garden beds worked up and flower beds this year, and barn cleaning. Katja has such a cozy home. These old villages are like stepping back in time. *I'm a little curious where her baby is!

Im in Ohio, USA. Reminds me of my grandmothers farm in Russel Springs, Kentucky, USA. No electricity gas or water indoors but it was a luxury to have the pump just 30 ft from the back porch. She also had a springhouse, a structure built over the spring that came down from the mountain that kept butter & milk cold.

А вона що себе ни бириже? На стойці робить, кірпічи тягає? Я коли була дитиною то на багато тяжко працювала чим Катя. Я в 14 років уже на заводі працювала, а Катя ще і не знає що це таке. И в 11-12 років їздила в село на тік зерно сушила лопатою перекидала. Ото ми працювали, а це вона відбиває. 😊😊😊😊
