Ok I just finished watching…we first saw your video when we were interested in watching Akia houses and we stumbled upon your very first episode. We could not believe all the bugs and wild creatures. I would had been screaming, in fact I was screaming while watching it!!!Don’t know how you two lived through it!!! Anyways ever since that very first video we have been watching you three(Pancake,too). We are so proud of what progress you have made living in such a rural area. I’m a city person and I know I could not do what you guys been doing. But watching you work so hard seams well worth it. Such lovely place you have made. So peaceful. I can’t wait to show this video and watch it again with my hubby tonight, especially after a busy work day, this will give him peace and relaxation!

I've been following you for a while now and happy to say that our Akiya Dream is about to come true. We left B.C. in Feb and are looking to get a place in central (re: rural) Kyoto-fu. It's been about 3 years in the planning and it's finally coming to fruition. The change of lifestyle will be a challenge but a joy as well. Your insights have been enlightening.
