Great video and it got me further into the installation process compare to other videos in CZcams. VB documentation failed many details you have mention on this video. I have a question; do we need to be in root account to installed VB? My installation failed and to restart the set up I need to run /sbin/vboxconfig

Yes you need root, you can use sudo

The virtual machine failed to boot. That might be caused by a missing operating system or misconfigured boot order. Mounting an operating system install DVD might solve this problem. Selecting an ISO file will attempt to mount it after the dialog is closed.

What does extension pack actually do? Is it really necessary if you are not going to do any development work? I use Windows version of vbox but I have not bothered with extension pack so am I missing something really useful?

When typing up the command sudo apt-get -f install after it says:
