Thanks for the video, I have some questions: Will it work on Lubuntu? I'm thinking about using a small distro to allow for more resources for the VM. Is it possible to prevent windows updates this way? The freaking thing tries to update all the time and I need to control when it should update.

The VirtualBox Linux kernel driver is either not loaded or not set up correctly. Please reinstall virtualbox-dkms package and load the kernel module by executing
'modprobe vboxdrv'
When VM was loading, I didn't get a chance to click drop down ISO, it just started installing. Is that a problem because it might have chosen Host Drive? Thanks

Yes, you can but why don't you use LibreOffice that comes free with Ubuntu?

This Windows installation is in a Virtual Machine (VM) that runs on top of Linux just like any other app. So you will still have your Linux OS. You should know that if you plan to play power hungry games on the Windows VM, they will not run properly. You can though play light games on it.

I didn't try it on Parrot OS. The amount of Ram you have is a bit low but I think it will work.

I've encountered issues with the VM crashing upon attempted installation and I've been seeing the following message in response, Why won't my PC restart. I think it might very well have to do with the fact that I did not follow the installation procedure that you did. So, I will give your method a try. I''ll get back to you and let you know how it turns out
Which version of virtual box are you using? I've tried this procedure with windows 7, 8.1 and 10 it works great...

AMD-V is disabled in the BIOS (or by the host OS) (VERR_SVM_DISABLED).
You have to go into the BIOS setup of your PC and enable AMD-V

Are you installing Windows 11 or 10? If 11, follow this: czcams.com/video/9EiXChO-_as/video.html . If Windows 10, increase the resources for the VM
