- Francia Raisa supported her longtime friend Selena Gomez at her inaugural Rare Impact Fund Benefit. She recalled how she initially met Selena some 16 years ago when they were both on Disney shows. She reflected on their journey together, which has included some rocky times, and how people sometimes need to spent time apart to grow and then come back together. Francia also gushed that she’s happy to be able to be supporting each other’s endeavors today and advocating for mental health as “two powerhouse Latinas.”

Francia is very open about what she went through, people don't understand that life is not white and black. They are definitely friends and sisters. And Francia has really achieved a lot since then, she is looking gorgeous and strong.💜

@@Beanboi2225 Exactly what I meant about grow and finding themselves. It was a difficult situation and I’m sure they didn’t want to make their relationship into one that felt indebted. I’m sure Selena would do anything for Francia but as long as they continue to support each other, that’s what matters.

No one can imagine the level of complications between them given their celebrity and of course their medical journeys. I'm so happy for them both and to see them back together.
